...remember the formula.d/dx of a.x^n=an.x^n-1.then apply it to each of them.therefore it will be;for that of 4x^2.it will be 8x.when you av differentiated it...then for that of 3x it will be 3...and for that of -5,it will be 0(d/dx of constanct is zero)then combining the three gives 8x+3+0.therefore it's 8x+3

To multiply any number by 5,50,500 etc...let's use a manipulation as this...5=10/2.so assuming you want to multiply 448 by 5.just divide 448 by 2 and add a nought...therefore 448/2=224.then add a nought to give 2240.assuming you want to multiply 363 by 50...divide 363 by 2 and add 2 noughts.363/2=181.5 and add 2 noughts to give 18150...

doubleDx: The question can only be solved graphically! There are two graphs, one is a curve i.e "2^x + 3^x" and the other a straight line cutting through the y - axis at "13" when x = 0 . The two graphs will intersect at x = 2, which gives you the solution to the question!

Just create a table of values for the curve "y = 2^x + 3^x" and the straight line y = 13 at x = 0; and their point of intersection which is the solution to the question will be at x = 2.

Hints => If (1 + x)^y can be expanded with binomial theorem, then the same can be applied to 2004^2004 by rewriting it as follows =>

(1 + 2003)²⁰⁰⁴ where x = 2003 and y = 2004.

With binomial theorem, we can write down only a few terms and evaluate them, however, not even your calculator can give you the exact answer! The more terms you write in the expansion the more accurate your answer becomes....

...the numbers greater than 3000 can be 4 digits starting with 3,4 or 5 or 5 digits...for the 4 digits...make 4 holes...it can start wit 3 numbers 3,4 or 5...so.put 3 in first hole.since there are 5 numbers in all.the numbers that can occupy the second hole will be 4 and 3rd,3 then 4th 2.so for the 4 digits,you will get 3*4*3*2=72.but remember it has or 5 digits.so for that.any number can be substituted into the 5 holes created to give 5*4*3*2*1=120.now remember that 4 digits or 5 digits.then add 72 to 120 to give 192...
