If it's the Lagos centre just go with your printout coz u will end up dropping everything outside. For calculator i went in with my jamb calc. It was not of much use though.

[ A preliminary investigation carried out by Myschool, through a JAMB Staff, has
revealed that the board will notify candidates of the new school/course they
will be posted, to adopt the new policy of candidate distribution.
According to the JAMB Staff, "Some of the candidates who scored more than
200 and are being rejected for some courses, happened based on the
individual cut-off marks set by the institution for those particular courses. In
summary too many students applied for those courses and the University can
only admit a fraction of the candidates who applied. JAMB will therefore notify
candidates of appropriate Universities/Course they can apply for."
It is therefore our deduction that these rejected candidates will be sent to
study the same courses in other Universities of lesser competition. This policy
also ensures that best candidates in the country are admitted, even if it means
posting them to other institutions.
The new policy to evenly distribute candidates by JAMB has met heavy
criticism based on the fact that forms were sold for candidates to Change their

My deduction is dat Jamb already set the national cut off and cannot set cut off for the school again. So unilag is where all this problem is from... Unilag has the right to set any cut off for highly competitive courses unlike Unilorin that clearly stipulated 240 in jamb for medicine in the jamb brochure...

Am an Oau student opting for Unilorin...
Oau will allow you to proceed with fake credentials but at some point they'll tell you that you aren't eligible.. Even those with 180. It is after you have loaded the real card and wait for sometime you will be tagged ineligible after wasting your money.... Besides the unilag issue.. A top unilag official came on radio this morning specifically said those cut off was set by Unilag for those high courses he gave a reason that there were so many students with 250 in the school. He said if ppl like they should keep protesting.... That y jamb never came out with any official release...

Those saying they were posted to madugiri can you tell us where you checked it or saw it. Coz if all these rumors is true then u all have your respective universities on your jamb profile already.....

Calebify1, its one thing for them to take time to upload evryone's info. Then, its anoda thing entirely for UNILAG to ask that u verify ur eligibility b4 u can continue ur applicatn. They wouldnt ask u to do that if uploading info was d problem. This isnt d 1st PUME Lag is doing nah.

Fine.Have you been able to deduce a criteria for ppl that have been proved eligible.....This is just day 1 of the form release.... The best is just contact unilag's ict centre. Am sure it not as serious as ppl are taking it

If jamb was going to carry out such mass transfer of students Didu ojerinde will have made mention of it wen he was briefing reporters coz i watched it.... It could be that not all the names of the candidates have been uploaded on unilag's site. At times these thing takes time to upload. So please let's be calm.

So for those who opt for these universities in their utme, hurriedly
go to your school portal to see things for yourself. A friend of
mine just checked hers and discovered she has been changed to
an unknown institution. This is no longer a rumour. Thousands of
students who passed their UTME examination & applied for these
universities will be denied admission. This is a move against the
poor who cannot afford expensive private universities. How can
someone opt for his/her preferred choice then you deny him the
chance to write the exam? Non~indigenes are the most at risk.
This is illegal. SAY NO TO CORRUPTION! SAVE NIGERIAN

Now jamb is killing dreams of students with this new rule.

Am not a unilag aspirant but it affects us all. we should try and say no to all this. okay fine jamb changed people's institution.how will a candidate know his new institution...... no provision for that was made
