Mathemagician1: When the economy collapsed Yorubas didn't criticize the President.
When he increased taxes and imposed stamp duty on withdrawal Yorubas didn't criticize the President.
When he increased pump price, electricity charges, even when commodity prices skyrocketed Yorubas didn't criticize the President.
But once Buhari fell sick and Osibande became ag President, Yorubas found their voices and became vibrant opposition to the Buhari Govt they once supported with all their might.
Could this be patriotism? Denying the obvious, yeah! Continue. Are you still playing the tribal card?Still angry with the yorubas for not voting GEJ? Are you not aware that our brothers from the east are now running faster than their shadow to join the Yoruba(APC)Party? Wake up before you are left behind |

Mathemagician1: Oh I'm not the only one saying it. CallmeGlad The earlier you wake up and smell the coffee the better for you.
These people are as disloyal as they come. Yesterday I saw a page about the reactions of Nigerians to President Buhari's phone call to Adesina and to my amazement all the criticism and mockery were coming from Yorubas. Why the sudden change? Don't they want "Sai barber" anymore?
When did they become opposition? I thought Buhari was their man and they got Hausas back.
Gladys I'm not a tribalist, I just find treachery repulsive. So to criticise PMB is now becoming an oppositon?Like seriously? Not everyone ass lick sir........ That they criticise him is the difference with between them and a certain tribe who always felt the media kicked out GEJ. The"sai barber"joke is kinda lame if you ask me. .. |

Amarabae: where are the sai baba noisemakers? they are slowly trying to sideline buhari and promote osibanjo with the help of the media. do these people think that everyone is gullible? Buhari is returning. he is still Nigeria president. Wrong assertion.Alot of people are just disappointed that PMB couldnt sack CBN governor or atleast order to either sit up or resign regarding the exchange rate. It's basically what Osinbajo did with the finance minister, and honestly speaking its no rocket science. This is why it seems PMB is been"side line". |
Politics › Re: 38 Days Of Osinbajo’s Acting Presidency- Daily Trust by CallmeGlad(f): 8:43am On Feb 26, 2017 |
Amarabae: like i said earlier, those who packaged buhari and sold him to some gullible nigerians are now trying to abandon him.. osibanjo is the next they want to package with the help of media. atiku will be next. Buhari is alive and he is returning. those who are secretly in their heart praying for him to die so that they will take over will be disapointed. Nobody packaged anybody. There was simply no Nigerian alive anywhere in the world that would have unseat Jonathan except Buhari.I stand to be corrected. I agree with those wishing him dead are wasting their time. |

Mathemagician1: Still on the hype?
Buhari is not dead yet but Yorubas are already hyping Osinbade, portraying him as a better President than Buhari, ready to stab the North at the back and grab the mantle of power.
Where is the love for "Sai barber" Yorubas once professed? Where is thy loyalty my Yoruba brothers?
Why are you so treacherous? Sorry sir,but you didnt make any sense |

modath: You do realise this is a "gravely" sick person we are talking about? & pray tell, is there anything in the rules book that this says this particular reporter must get an interview slot ..... . Is there no free will? People can choose not to want to speak with the press at a particular period, This man already did the needful... PYO is acting in his stead... Case closed..
In saner climes, head of governments don't have reporters knocking on their gates to see them,, there are protocols to these things & security wise, do you think it's ok? Would Theresa May, Trump, Mdm Merkel have people knocking on their doors & the next thing is to be ushered inside..
As for reporters camping outside the premises, that is no problem, they don't insist on seeing the person holed up inside, which knocks down your argument... You made sense here too |
Politics › Re: London Police Called To Arrest The Guardian’s Reporter Over Buhari by CallmeGlad(f): 7:18am On Feb 20, 2017 |
modath: Bros, as we know for a fact.... Getting an interview slot with high profile individuals is not a matter of just stumbling by & asking to see them. .... Did the guardian newpaper guy book an interview with the man prior to just knocking on the gate?
There is no news in this, this is sensationalism for the sheer hell of it... even your local govt chairman is not likely to grant you the time of day in this particular circumstances... Saraki (& probably Zahra)were ushered in, that's that with that...
We are grown and know how things ought to be, we shouldn't let our emotion & the way we feel about the nation's state of affairs get in the way of quick / rational &objective criticism! ! Haba!!!
P.S.... I know some fools are going to keep their frozen brain in the oven to warm up & quote me to yarn dust, Please do, You'll be fixed quickly... I agree with u ma |
