Just to make this more practical.

If you had to grow a Nigerian real estate platform from 0 to getting consistent agents and property listings, what would you focus on first?

Would you go with WhatsApp groups, paid ads, partnerships, or something else?

I’m open to testing ideas that actually work — especially from people who have done something similar before.

Let me also add this for more clarity.

I’m not just looking for random promotion — I’m looking for someone who can actually help bring in real users (agents, agencies and developers).

If you understand how to drive targeted traffic (not just impressions), I’m open to working long-term and rewarding results.

Even if you’ve never worked on a property platform before but have strong ideas on user growth, feel free to share.

I’m particularly interested in practical strategies that can work in Nigeria.

Hi everyone,

I’m currently building and running a web platform in the Nigerian real estate space. The product is already live and functional, and I’ve started testing different acquisition channels (e.g. forums, basic ads).

At this stage, my main focus is growth — specifically attracting the right users (agents, agencies and developers) rather than just random traffic.

I’m looking to collaborate with someone who has a good understanding of:

– Online user acquisition
– Digital marketing / growth strategies
– Audience targeting (especially within Nigeria)

The goal is not just to “run ads”, but to figure out what channels and strategies can consistently bring in relevant users.

If you’ve worked on growing a web product before (or have strong ideas around this), I’d be interested in connecting.

You can reply here or send me a private message (PM).

I’m open to discussing both collaboration and paid arrangements depending on value.

Hi everyone,

I’m currently working on a real estate platform focused on helping agents, agencies and developers in Nigeria list properties and connect with serious buyers.

The platform is already live, and I’ve started running ads and getting some traffic, but I’m now looking for someone who understands online marketing and can help grow visibility and reach the right audience.

I’m not just looking for random promotion — I’m interested in someone who understands things like:

– Online advertising (forums, social media, etc.)
– Targeting the right audience
– Driving real users, not just traffic

Ideally, I’d like to work with someone who:

– Has experience with digital marketing or audience growth
– Is creative with ideas on how to reach agents, agencies and developers
– Is willing to grow with a product long-term

This could be a paid arrangement or a collaboration depending on the value you bring.

If this sounds like something you’re interested in, feel free to reply or send me a message.

I’m open to hearing ideas.
PropertiesWhy Do Many Property Listings Online Look Suspicious To Buyers? by CallydEmpire(op): 1:14pm On Feb 13
I’ve been thinking about something in the Nigerian property space.

Sometimes when you browse property listings online, a lot of them look questionable.

Same pictures used by different people.
•No clear details.
•No proper pricing explanation.
•No way to confirm if it’s genuine.
•And because of this, many serious buyers become skeptical.

At the same time, there are genuine agents and developers who are actually doing legitimate business but still struggle because buyers don’t easily trust online listings anymore.
So I want to ask:

•From a buyer’s perspective — what makes a property listing look trustworthy to you?

•And from agents or developers here — what challenges do you face when trying to convince buyers that your listing is genuine?

I believe trust is becoming one of the biggest issues in online real estate marketing.

I’d really like to hear honest opinions.
