They might not accept attestation of birth from you if you are born after 1992. You might need to submit an original birth certificate issued by NPC.

I stand to be corrected by experts here though.

That could be the case, please do you or anyone have a sample of the original NPC certificate for people born after 1992?

Hello everyone, please which version of the birth certificate was accepted by the NVC for your individual cases.
We've had an attestation of birth and birth certificate both issued by NPC rejected as invalid document by NVC.

My brother didn’t use birth certificate from NPC.

Since he was born in the late 80s, he decided to obtain the one from Mushin Local Government.

No, he used it for Canadian visa. What happened to the one you obtained from NPC?

it was rejected, both from NPC. Can you please confirm if this is the version your brother got from the Local government NPC registrar.

Go to the local government to get the old version. Lagos state has the old version which you can get through the local government. My brother got one at Mushin Local Government

Please is this one issued by the NPC? Cos the site says it has to come from them with a seal. And was it obtained for US visa?

Anyone the embassy can verify. The United States embassy have seen different versions. Genuine documents/credentials is what they are after .

We've had an attestation and certificate of birth issued by NPC being rejected by NVC as invalid document. So at this point it's confusing to know the version they are accepting.

Hello everyone, please what's the acceptable certificate of birth for US embassy. NPC seems to have several versions of this certificate.

Please can anyone confirm the format of this birth certificate issued by NPC for the purpose of US Visa as it was rejected as "Invavild Document "

For the recent immigrants to the US, what format of the "Certificate of Birth" issued by National Population Commission(NPC) was accepted by the NVC for civil documents?

We've had an attestation of birth issued by NPC and most recently certificate of birth from same NPC both rejected as invalid document.

Please any contributions will be appreciated
