I will be the very first to say that Nollywood does NOT need VFX. And PLEASE – colour correction and grading is NOT considered VFX. First of all let’s cut out the bullshit and stop praising mediocrity… a one-day graphics course in London is not something to be proud about. I say that because not in a million years did this so-called VFX artist guy study anywhere reputable or at least not for more a one-week course. VFX takes many, many, many years to learn and if this guy actually DID study for years then he’s even worse that I initially thought. I’m not going to hold any punches back because his level of work is what even secondary school children here in the UK or US will be so ashamed of. Jokes apart; where is that thread mentioning how many $16m dollars was spent on... was it 'Invasion 1897' that from the same VFX guy has just as poor VFX?

Yet a whole film industry is hailing this sub of sub standard work… we Nigerians are just plain ridiculous end of.
Maybe it was the ONLY film submitted that had any inkling of supposed VFX for AMAA to actually give it an award.
Who are the people saying ‘Hollywood standard’? Are they all blind, deaf and dumb? Haba, we can’t be this lost. Sorry I’m ranting about this because this level is more serious than K-leg. As I have mentioned the hard truth in numerous threads – we are lazy. Just the other day some Naija guy flew a quadcopter for an hour then declared he is now a ‘professional’ (not from NL). This kind of 'dangerous' laziness is what will kill us.

President Jonathan has faced severe criticism, not mostly due to lack of performance but corruption making it look as if the previous leaders wear saints. Taking a critical look at OBJ's government and that of GEJ, do you really think GEJ's govt is more corrupt than that of OBJ?

In my own opinion, I think if GEJ is not from the 'minority' he will not be critisiced as much. They just want to stop him from recontesting. What do you think?

Note that I believe so much that Jonathan has alot to do in the fight against corruption. That it didn't start now does not mean it can't stop now, but OBJ must learn how to come to equity with clean hands, he is not in position to criticise Jonathan because his govt was not truely in a better shape.

In my opinion, I think the issue here is trust because the people you are dealing with don't know you hence their fear. I suggest that if you are serious about doing biz online, you should register a business name at CEC after which, you open a bank account with the business name where buyers can make payments. This way there will be some level of trust. Owning a website is important too. YOU ALSO NEED TO MAKE SURE THAT YOU DELIVER SO THAT YOU WOULD BE RECOMMENDED.

I'm also a learner But you need to know PHP/MySql to be able to pull this off. U need a server to store the user's data and create a file(example.php), which would collect the user's info.

I can give u d code but what's d point when like me, u barely understand Php.

Pls note: it mainly needs PHP and Mysql to achieve but it might also need Php and MySql and Ajax

I want you to note that the form has been connected to the database. It is fully functional ie. It recieves data and stores same in the datdbase, my only problem is that i want the form to inform the user when it is not properly filled.

Dear Friends, I need your assistance. I am still a green horn in web design, but I have managed to design a site with a form. My problem is how to make the form more interactive. I want a situation were by if the visitor does not fill a particular field, the form won't sumit. The person will be notified that he has not filled the form completely. I use dreamweaver8. I need ur help on how to do this with dreamweaver 8.

I registered in Abia State. When u go to CAC, don't be discouraged to enter their office and pick the form urself because most people u meet will make it look as if it is a difficult task, so that u will pay them to do it for u. A lawyer charged me 20k but I went to CAC and it cost less than 6k including trans etc. You can use any name.
