I don't know much about NDLEA code of conduct regarding their uniform use but I assume they are allowed to do that. The most important thing though is to always look intently at their on-duty card they put on that Identifies them. In fact, when interacting with them as they get to establish the identity of who they are dealing with ask it of them as well. They tend to not introduce themselves and communicate more awareness, my observation.

There are plain dressed officers for different reasons, one of the most common being by virtue of their duty..e.g for Immigration, monitoring. You wouldn't know about them until you look at their card. They are responsible for interception of possible overstay cases, so I would assume it may apply to NDLEA too.

All war is madness for real. That's exactly what prevented me from joining the US army!

Lols, non of the officers in the video was immigration. That's how immigration gets strays from "mis-doings" of other agencies. The officers featured in his interactions in the video was first the Nigerian Customs Service officer responsible for checking dutiable items and contraband etc and his second interaction was with an NDLEA official strictly focus on drugs.


Usually that line up occurs after they have been cleared and admitted/stamped into the country by the combo check of first the DSS then Nigeria Immigration Service.

That second line where this video is made typically made up of NCS almost always first, Nigeria Quarantine Service (agric or biological focused checking), NDLEA, I have forgotten the other two but those ones rarely interface or might appear based on tip-offs or haunches or watchlist triggers

I hate this administration and the way things are being done at the Nigerian airport. The NDlea shouldn't be checking passports. It's wrong and unacceptable. However, why did you approach the staff with so much premeditated aggression in your tone? Why does it matter if you are in the military in the US? Oga calm down o. law no dey naija o. You fit just dissappear like that and the US no go ever lift a finger.
