It says "work experience in the last 10 years" so if you 4 years work experience falls within the 10 years range then you're good to go. Just get the reference letter in CIC format from them. Your freelance job can come in your personal history cos of you claim self employed, you'll need to include your certificate of incorporation and some other things.

I'm new here. But I'm a bit confused about a particular issue, I would appreciate clarity.

I have about 4 years employed work experience, but I'm currently self employed(freelance).

Which of these experiences should I state?

Can I include my employed work experience and exclude my self employment? If not,

Is there any aspect of the application that creates room to state self employed as well as employed?
