If you are rich, you can opt for IVF so they can do selective implantation via advanced NIPT screening for the sickle cell trait. If you can't afford it, I don't know how you'll do it cause 10 years is a long time to have wasted the time of that woman. With all the awareness going on about sickle cell and genotype compatibility, it feels like you just crawled out of the stone age where the topic is concerned. |
