A big thank you to Justwise and everyone else that has contributed meaningfully here. I've been in Birmingham for a week now and classes will start on Wednesday.

Interview - 24/07/17
Decision & Collection mail - 01/09/17 (minutes apart)
Collection - 06/09/17 (because of the public holiday)

Please, is anyone going to Birmingham from Abuja next weekend? I cannot be the only one

I collected my visa this morning.

what date did u applied. I am still waiting.I am also going BCU . DId you asked university for help.

I applied on the 24th of July. On Wednesday, I replied one of the enrolment mails that they (BCU) sent and told them that I was yet to get a visa and that the start date was fast approaching. I received a call and a mail asking me to send my name, nationality, etc to them which I did. I then got another mail from the school telling me that I'd hear from the UKVI soon. I heard from them today.

Biometrics: July 13
Sheffield email : July 20
Escalation : Aug 15
TLS mail that decision has been made: Aug 25 8:27am
TLS mail for collection : Aug 25 @ 05:49pm
Ukvi website update : Aug 25 (app decided on Aug 22)
Standard app at Ikeja

I picked up my tier 4 visa today...

Congratulations! I just got my mail for collection today! I'm hopeful that I'll be granted a visa as well, and I'm going to Birmingham City University too.

Oh....OK...I didn't get that email.....mine makes 29 working days today.... Am sure u still av some time until ur course starts? Am going for a professional course and resumption date is Aug 29.... Bcu has given me additional two weeks of grace within which to resume though...

Let's see wat happens b4 d week runs out....if I get any update, I ll post it here, hope u do the same...best of luck!

Course starts September 11. I'll also post any update that comes my way. All the best too!

I applied on July 13.... Sheffield email July 20, since then, no update...

I applied on the 24th of July. Sheffield email August 7, then this on the 17th, and I didn't pay for priority.

Nothing happens there has been a general delay in visa processing timeline. My mum made a visiting visa application on the 22nd of June and just got her passport back on the 17th of August. Visa granted. So just chill and wait

I received a similar email. My body has been doing me somehow since I got it. Anyone knows what happens in a situation like this? Epp, please.
