Teaching job with age preference? I suspect the school is sub-standard. HephzibahO: |
dammyconcept:INFODESK is an sms service app. The organization that sent the message to forgot/could not change it to their own name. |
Nice one bro. But remember that all proper nouns(including your surname) begin with capital letter. First person pronoun singular must be written in capital letter. |
#200 or #2000? Unemployment don reach like this? |

busuyem:That I don't know. I guess the school is expanding. They may need more hands. It is indeed a big school. |
[quote author=Cortana2 post=47094080]Greetings. If you work at Atlantic Hall or know someone who does, can you please help answer the following: 1. What is the salary scale like at Atlantic Hall? 2. Does the school have boarding facilities for ALL their teachers? 3. Does Atlantic Hall have good working environment? Thank you. It is among the top 10 schools in Nigeria. Salary scale: 2.7 million per annum as at last year. A friend of mine got job there last year. |

oil company with yahoo.com------ I tire oooooo! ![]() Package well, if you must get maga. |
Adele200:Probably you have posted a fake job for once or better still, the recruiter is clueless in what he/she is looking for. I have been in the line for more than a decade; I can tell you that any teaching selection that has age as a yardstick is more of a scam. Maybe, the employer is looking for a cheap labour. |
FAKE-------- TEACHING JOB THAT HAS AGE LIMIT. MATURE TEACHERS DO BETTER THAN YOUNG ONES. |

Female Home Lesson English Teacher to handle primary 4 pupil needed. Location-Surulere Lagos, Days-Tuesdays and Thursdays |
I do not know why you are teaching? Whatever reason(s) that brought you into this profession, I believe you deserve a good pay. Some of us receive 10k-40k, others 50k-70k, others 80k-120, others 130k-150k and others 150k-k's. All these categories of remunerations are available but you need few things to get a good one. 1. Determination and Focus- be determined and focused. Start somewhere and aim/target big. I started teaching job with 10k. 2. Be unique- Do not always do your things as usual. I could remember I payed for website hosting in August and put the website in my CV. It gave edge over others. I wrote a novel which I showed the manuscript to my interviewer. 3. Take Risk-Leave your comfort zone and try new things. I was teaching in Mainland-from 10k to 16k to 38k and 100k(Lekki) after a month 20k added(120k now). But how many of us can abandon 2 months salary of 38k(76k) to pursue an unsure job? Yes, I did it when my employer wanted to use it to hold me . Leave your comfort zone- there are schools here in Lekki, Ikoyi, VI, Ajah that you can fit in perfectly into. The School that is paying me 120k just started with 14 students. |
Ofumaria:That is why I am sharing it for anyone who might be interested. An application you sent months back may receive attention anytime. Read my post well; I did not say that a school I recently applied invited me for an interview. |

RE-INVIATATION TO CHIEF DELE, VICDAYLE RESOURCES AND KRISTA-BAL INTERVIEWS Hi colleagues, I am involved in the three. Interestingly, I live at IJESHA opposite CHIEF DELE GROUP OF SCHOOLS. CHIEF DELE I guess is the owner of DELE COLLEGE and DELE NURSERY AND PRIMARY SCHOOL located at 61/63 MARTINS STREET, IJESHA. It is a new school still under construction. You are going to be the first set of staff; do not worry, your selection is certain. DESCRIPTION- stop at CELE BUS STOP or IJESHA STOP and take keke or byke going to IJESHA MARKET. From IJESHA MARKET walk down as if you are going to PAKO AGUDA. You will see MRS FILLING STATION. The school is at the back of the FILLING STATION. (if you don’t have money for direct byke). If you are coming from SURULERE-PAKO-AGUDA, you will stop at the MRS FILLING STATION before IJESHA MARKET. I was at VICDAYLE RESOURCES on FRIDAY but the boss as I understood was not on seat. He went out to source for clients. The place is a one-room office demarcated into two in that plaza at 25 Osolo way, Ajao Estate. Take bus going to AIRPORT ROAD and stop at 7&8 BUS STOP. I think they have clients but not sure if they can attract the likes of CORONA, DOWEN, CRC etc. As for KRISTA-BAL, to hell with them. I wasted a whole day writing lesson note and basic teaching principles. Maybe, they expect me to spend another day to come and write on my area of specialization. Then another day for micro-teaching. Another day for negotiation. And after that, they will pay me less than 30k. Those teachers there do not look like people who earn more than 30k. |
CRSS INTERVIEW/SELECTION/SCREENING UPDATE With a high-hope of expectation, I went for the written test(English and Literature), did my best and was later invited for oral interview. But one thing that struck my mind during this oral interview was that their yardstick for selection was how much you can collect and not what you can offer. Of course, there was no micro teaching as a standard method for selection. May I announce to you that the successful candidates are now at their Ibadan branch on 3-day training. Most of them are fellows with less than 2-years teaching experience. My 3 friends made it. As big as CRSS is, collecting #350,000 from students, they can only offer teachers #45,000-#55,000 depending on your bargaining power. Gbagada branch has more than 400 students, paying #350,000 but cannot pay their teachers up to #60,000 Worst of it is that you close by 6pm daily. This procedure makes it imperative that you do not leave school before the principal. The term 'holiday' is not for the staff. As at yesterday when those my colleagues were traveling with some of their teachers, they gathered that August salary is still far from their reach. Beloved, CRSS is not sincere. They are looking for cheap labour. Do not grieve over it if you are not called. |
