Foreign AffairsRe: 14 Killed In Saudi Aramco's Helicopter Crash (Video) by CaptainIgbo: 8:12am On Jun 29
This is a very sad situation for all of those and their families involved. May the victims rest in peace. cry
Nairaland GeneralRe: A Country Hidden In The Middle Of The Ocean! See The Marshall Islands! (30-sec)! by CaptainIgbo: 12:10am On Jun 29
Nice music to that video. I suggest adding more images to give people a better picture of the Marshall Islands.
EducationRe: Prof. Okechukwu Onuchukwu Gifts A House To A Friend by CaptainIgbo: 12:08am On Jun 29
Well, while it's probably best to give gifts in private, it's still noble to give a gift, especially one this significant.
CrimeRe: Two Nigerians And Thai Woman Arrested In Romance Scam Drug Operation In Thailand by CaptainIgbo: 12:06am On Jun 29
People need to be careful about romance scams. Probably the worst place to be caught for this is Thailand, since its criminal justice system and prisons are no joke. These Nigerians will be in for a rude awakening. What's notable is that women are just as likely as men to fall for these types of scams.

People need to start using common sense and not trust anyone over the internet.
CelebritiesRe: Nollywood Actor Joseph Momodu Joins US Army (Photos) by CaptainIgbo: 7:36am On Jun 27
The U.S. Army provides excellent training and benefits. However, there is always the risk of getting deployed somewhere abroad that can be dangerous, especially during war.
EducationRe: Man Caught With Pistol At Prince Abubakar Audu University, Kogi (photos) by CaptainIgbo: 6:33pm On Jun 26
He's not very bright. If you are going to be involved in crimes, it's probably best not to have prominent tattoos that tell the world you are up to no good.
CrimeRe: Police Arrest 21-year-old With Human Body Part In Lagos by CaptainIgbo: 6:30pm On Jun 26
There are some very sick people out there. I see no purpose to this. If this is true, they need to find who it belongs to and arrest the people involved, and giving them very long sentences.
Christianity EtcRe: Does God Permit Polygamy In The New Testament? by CaptainIgbo: 4:24pm On Jun 26
People who defend polygamy are just defending a form of hedonism, I think. I mean if a man can support multiples wives and many children, it's not the worst-case scenario, but it seems having one wife is more than enough, and allows him to devote the proper time to his children.
SportsRe: African Countries Are Yet To Impress At The World Cup by CaptainIgbo: 4:20pm On Jun 26
Well, as I recall Spanish star Lamine Lamal is of African descent, so that's impressive. His father is Moroccan and his mother is from Equatorial Guinea. wink
Music/RadioRe: 20 Chat-Topper Songs That Rocked The 90s And Early 2000s (Throwback) by CaptainIgbo: 8:08am On Jun 26
SixSeven:
"They Don't Care About Us" is a raw, fast-paced protest anthem that attacks systemic oppression, racism, government corruption, and police brutality. Unlike Michael Jackson’s more optimistic unity anthems like "Heal the World," this track takes a stark, confrontational approach. Driven by a aggressive, military-style drumbeat and defiant vocals, the lyrics voice the anger and helplessness felt by marginalized communities. It positions Jackson as a spokesperson for the disenfranchised, directly challenging the political institutions that abandon the vulnerable.
Michael Jackson is one of the greatest pop musicians of all time from the U.S., and it's true he dedicated his life to bringing world peace. Some of his music was inspired by the police brutality experienced by black Americans in the U.S. May he rest in peace!
EducationRe: FUD Cracks Down On Lecturers Who Absconded After Sponsored Programs by CaptainIgbo: 7:55am On Jun 26
It is a major betrayal because education is important for the well-being of society. Educators must have a motivation that goes far beyond making money.
CelebritiesRe: America Under The Control Of Satan The World Be Warned by CaptainIgbo: 2:31am On Jun 25
OK, this thread has gotten a bit silly. I think it's more the case that large corporations are running the U.S. than some secret societies, though there could be overlap between the two. With AI advancing as it is and expanding surveillance capability, I think the true threat is large corporations that buy up politicians.
TravelRe: Virtual Tour: Beautiful Places In Asia You Should Visit (photos & Video) by CaptainIgbo: 2:26am On Jun 25
Lots of men, especially from the West, are traveling to Asia to find wives. Some call these men the "passport bros." Asia has a lot of potential, but the continent will need to get its birthrate up closer to Africa if it wants to remain dominant later in this century. I'd love to visit much of Asia.
CrimeRe: Franklin Nwadialo: Anambra LG Chairman Jailed For 5 Years In US For Romance Scam by CaptainIgbo: 1:06am On Jun 25
I have a hard time grasping how people are willing to transfer hundreds of thousands of dollars to someone they met online... Wow. I actually had to check if this story is real, and it is. Well, I guess the warnings should go up everywhere with so many gullible people. My guess is that some of these victims are extremely naive and possibly at rock-bottom in their lives.
CrimeRe: A Glimpse At Life Inside Sokoto Prison where Nnamdi Kanu Is Serving Time(Photos) by CaptainIgbo: 12:59am On Jun 25
If that is a prison, while it's not an ideal place to be, it looks a lot better than other prisons I have seen. That actually looks like the homes of some people.
TravelRe: FIFA World Cup Fans Discover They've Been Lied To About The USA by CaptainIgbo: 11:36am On Jun 24
The U.S. is far from perfect. The same issues people complain about in other countries - rising prices, employment, corruption, etc. - will be found in the U.S. There are even slums and zones with lots of homeless. The U.S. is not a monolith.
CelebritiesRe: America Under The Control Of Satan The World Be Warned by CaptainIgbo: 11:30am On Jun 24
People need to relax with their conspiracy theories. Leaders of all countries are pretty much corrupt - what separates America is the country has the world's most powerful military. wink
