Ok i admit, Chelsea has tried so far but i don't expect 'em to win the league. Remember, Arsenal was ontop of the table last christmas; they eventually didn't win the league... Edoblakky: This is exactly how champions emerge. Clubs like arsenal and Liverpool find it difficult to win the league because they concentrate on winning the big teams while they lose to smaller ones. It's only arsenal and Liverpool that have beaten us this season but interestingly, they are behind us. Why? Their aim was to beat big teams and they have succeeded. To win this league, one must recognize that there are more smaller teams than bigger teams. Even if we are to lose to all the big teams and beat all the small teams, we are almost sure of the league. But we are beating both smaller and bigger teams. Those nasty draws and losses against smaller opposition cost teams the league You're spot on! Again is lack of depth in the squad. |

justicesky24: Mikel will do a beta Job than them. Conte should just allow mikel to replace kante even if it is just this upcoming game. Conte plz I totally agree but the problem I have with Mikel is his back and sideways passes. Matic and Fabregas are quite slow. Fab is even worse off cos he doesnt even have 1w defensive bone in his body but they make up their lapses with passes and assists. Mikel is good esp when we want to retain possession and see off games. |

skywalker001: I guess conte is gonna use Hazard as false 9 and fill in d flanks wit pedro and willian and as for Kante fab is gonna start and be doing matic's work and matic wil drop back to do kante's work As much as I like the idea, we don't play like barca so starting Hazard as a false 9 might just backfire esp in the epl where most managers are concious of their defence and keeping their team as compact as possible. We can switch to that formation if we're defending a lead and we want to hit on the counter like we did against City |

Marvel1206: It seems you don't understand, let me break it down to you. Chelsea's latest wins are NARROW.
If they keep up with this, they might not be able to face a good attacking team U need not explain anything to me ogbeni, for u to rate everton's attacking prowess over teams like city and spurs means ure a loong way off soccer comprehension or better yet, ur hatred for Chelsea's success has blinded u. U don't expect to blow away other teams all the time just to prove you're good. Games that are grinded out like our victory over west brom and sunderland are what defines a season....those hard fought wins are even more appreciated because the team dug in even under immense pressure. So you're welcome to hate all u want but try not to let it affect your judgement. Narrow or not, it doesnt take away the 3 points we got today. So carry on. |

Playing without Costa is going to be a tad difficult for us considering the fact that Batshuayi finds it difficult to lead the line alone, unlike Costa.
This will be a good time for him to sample his credentials.
As for Kante, we have Chalobah, Fabregas and Loftus Cheek ready to slot in beside Matic.
Hopefully we'll pull through |

Marvel1206: It shows Chelsea and Fluke goals are like 5&6. Let them play with a decent attacking team and watch how they'll fall like NAIRA.
Bournemouth, Arsenal and liverpool are good examples Tottenham, Man Utd, Man City, Everton are not decent attacking sides? We got 11 wins in 11 games and clear off the top by 9pts. Cry yourself to sleep. |
