"Want of Jurisdiction" meaning he cannot hear the case.... In local parlance, there is nothing to rule. He simply said nothing and struck out the case. From the order, there was 'technically' no judgement.
The Appeal Court adjourned to June 20, 3 days after the LG Chairmen must have vacated office.
They are treating 5 related suits. This one makes me laugh |

Politics › Re: Flashback: Why I Opposed Awolowo On Secession - Zik by Carazon: 2:44pm On Jun 07, 2024 |
Armaggedon: Zik stood for regionalism and federalism with financial and legislative autonomy where the regions developed in their own pace. No contradictions.
One of the most confusing figures in Nigeria's history was Awolowo. He claimed he wanted secession and zik rejected. But when the opportunity presented itself during Biafra, the same Awolowo made a complete U-turn and and started fighting for a unitary one Nigeria as championed by gowon. His attitude justified Zik's opinions about him.
For those who claim his demand was in good faith, his demand was rediculous and he knew it. He was neither here no there. There is no sovereign state in the world that has secession in it's constitution. If he truly wanted his region to be alone he should have demanded a pre-independence referendum like southern Cameroon or pre-independence partitioning as in British India. Opting for a secession clause instead of pre-independence referendum clearly indicated lack of commitment to specific ideology from Awolowo. You can't officially keep one leg in the country and keeping one outside. A snake he was. And I've been blaming Zik all the while. Now I know that Igbos are not the problem but those that removed history from our curriculum. |

JohnnA1: If you know some of the things (drugs, fraud. Etc) Nigerians (most especially people from a certain tribe) do in South Africa you won't blame them so much.
Where ever you find yourself in this world, BE A LAW ABIDING CITIZEN.
STOP SELLING DRUGS TO SCHOOL CHILDREN, STOP FRAUDULENT ACTIVITIES!
Nuff said... Your hatred for a particular tribe in your country has blocked your sense of reasoning. Are there no law enforcement officers in SA? Is SA the only country in the world that has foreigners doing drug and other related crimes? Does it mean that South Africans have lost hope on their law enforcement officers to the extend that they have chosen to take laws into their hands? Is their police that corrupt or lazy that they have to leave their jobs in the hands of their lazy youths? My brother, I will advice you to condemn evil anywhere you see evil because if it doesn't affect you today, it may affect you tomorrow. |

Your wishes have been granted. You're in court, provide whom the said product has killed and you're alleging victimization. It doesn't work like that boss Not only that, she went as far as advertising other brands as best in market. That makes it look like she was paid to demarket Erisco product. |

Are the rich not Nigerians as well? Babalegba: It becomes bullying when the erisco boss utilized the IGP to whisk her to Abuja for interrogation. Nigerians are getting tired of being bullied by the rich. Many people would not have been concerned if she was sued to court after all she did the initial wrong but eriscos heavy handedness and bullying tactics made people turn against him and support Chioma. The longer this goes on, the worse it becomes for erisco. It would take enormous amount of money for the damage already done to be reversed. Common sense appears not to be common. |

Privatize them, na lie. They just want to keep stealing from Nigerians all in the name of TAM. Allow a competent leader take over, you'd not allow that. There are much older refineries in the west that are still functional due to proper maintaining and accountability. Amazingly, they would refine and sell petrol to us. Nigerian government's maintenance culture is -1%

Anyway, I think there's more to this case that meet the eyes. It's sad enough that she's had miscarriage. May God heal her pain.
If she wins this case, mhennnn, Umeofia may be sued for damages that could take him out of businesses.
Also, the "over my dead body" comment from Eric is too deep. I pray he hasn't speak/ill-wish himself to past. The man is too loud mouthed for my liking. Ordinarily, he should have just allowed the company's media or customer relations to handle the issue. Let her win the case first |
