Someone DM'd me asking about numbers.

If you don't have exact data, estimate:
"Improved team output by ~20%" or "Reduced application time by 3 hours/week"
ATS loves numbers more than "improved" "helped" "responsible for"

I was tired of sending 50 applications and getting 0 replies.
So I spent 3 weeks testing ChatGPT/CLAUDE to rewrite my resume, cover letters, and LinkedIn.
The difference was crazy. 2 weeks later I had 3 interview invites.

Here are 3 prompts that worked best for me. Steal them:

1. Resume Bullet Prompt:
"Act as a resume writer obsessed with quantifiable results. Here are my current bullet points, which are too vague: [PASTE BULLETS]. Rewrite each one using the formula: [Action Verb] + [Task] + [Quantifiable Result]. Where I haven't given a number, ask me a specific question to help me estimate a realistic one — don't just invent one."

2. Cover Letter Prompt:
"Act as a hiring manager turned cover letter strategist. Here's the job description: [PASTE JD]. Here's my background: [PASTE RESUME/SUMMARY]. Write a one-page cover letter tailored to this role — reference 2-3 specific requirements from the JD and connect them to my real experience. Mention the company by name. Don't just restate my resume — tell a brief story of why I'm a fit. End with a confident call to action."

3. Recruiter Outreach Prompt:
"Act as a talent acquisition pro. I want to reach out to a recruiter about [TARGET ROLE]. My background in brief: [1-2 SENTENCES]. Write a concise message (under 100 words) that states my target role upfront, highlights my top qualification, and ends with one easy, specific question."
