But I don't know why something in me keeps laughing when I see people talking about organising any nigerian institution.

Prospective officers that are desperately looking for a government job where they can earn a living and escape the severe frustration and hardship in Nigeria, and somehow secure the future of their children, na them go come organize NSCDC??

You guys should just relax and let us enjoy this December in peace... it has been a hectic year so far.

Your documentation and training will be focus on from next month January when we return from the Xmas break. You guys are just getting worried about something you’re going to be committing the next 35years of your life on.


Well kudos to the unknown guy at the office that has been your correct source of information here on nairaland.

Note: the final names has been signed and the delay has been due to unforeseen circumstances and you guys should be praying harder to your various Gods about it.. hold on to your current job and those still unemployed should look for something doing.

NCS online registration will commence on Monday while exams and screening will be done very fast because they’re going to training camp immediately after this new intake POP mid 2022.

My advice to you guys is keep on praying for the ministry and Corp, as well as applying for other job vacancies....

All is well. Hp the unforseen circumstances won't be this covid 19 omicron again?

With the look of things if this runs out without the list,that means everything still next year be that....no time again

Unfortunately, this is not an isolated case. It exists everywhere in our clan. I assumed a position recently and just 4 out of over 20 new entrants got the job on merit.

In fact, one of the beneficiaries of the "back-door" appointment said she didn't sit for the exam but got a mail that reads "sequel to your performance in the so so and so assessment, you have been offered a position."

Those of us who know no one in the corridors of power only trust that God has the best plan for us. But we also recognise that we must do our part which includes applying to vacancies.

There might have been over 16 candidates who got in through the back door but there are 4 who got in without influence too.

As a result, those who know no one besides God must continue to keep faith that this recruitment will be in their favour.

The secrecy surrounding NSCDC is too much...

By now you guys should know how government recruitment especially under interior play out, if you have been following, it takes a split seconds for activities to start, so you guys just keep calm, you are almost there.

Board meeting was held this week, NIS got approval for final documentation list, while NSCDC is still dragging on waiting to get everything (logistics and Training funds disbursed, etc ) —- ready for training before releasing the list...

I understand the situation, they want the recruits to head to training camp immediately after documentation instead of wasting time again...
