The purpose of this release is to lighten the spirits of those that may have been shocked and a little disappointed by some of the teams that have exited the competition in the group stages. 27, June 2014, Lagos Nigeria. It was all fun at the Go Cart race track when Nigeria’s no 1 automobile marketplace Carmudi Nigeria held the first edition of Carmudi Nigeria Fan Race. The event was held at a racing arena at Victoria Island. In attendance was the Carmudi Team who took to the race track to show their driving skills and ultimately decide who the Carmudi Nigeria racing champion is.
Speaking on the reason for holding this event, The Head of Sales, Mohammed Iyamu said ‘Carmudi Nigeria is a brand that is accessible to all auto dealers and individuals. We are out on the field every day in every part of Lagos and other states where Carmudi Nigeria has an office and we interact with people who we may not me again. This monthly event is meant to bridge that gap and ensure that Carmudi Nigeria is also accessible outside the business environment.’
The Managing Director, Christian Keller who became the Carmudi Nigeria’s Go Cart Racing champion stated that the need to identify with the dealers and Carmudi Nigeria’s customers is important and what better place to do so than in a relaxed environment. He also stated that the event would be held monthly.
