In this article, I’ll be introducing you guys to the Konga Affiliate Program. It is an incontestable fact that, Konga is today, Nigeria’s largest online shopping mall. And anyone interested in making a steady legitimate income online in Nigeria, shouldn't pass this off. Affiliate marketing is the best thing to happen to the computer age since the internet was created. There are many programs and businesses that open their doors to partnerships where virtually anyone interested in advertising their products/services in return for a percentage commission can join. Examples are: Amazon affiliate program (they accept Nigerians now), Konga affiliate program, Jumia affiliate program and Kaymu affiliate program. The last three are all Nigerian-based companies. It is quite unfortunate that the Unemployment rate today, is so high. Don’t beat yourself up. Millions of people around the world make their living solely on the internet (legitimately); and affiliate marketing is one of the main ways they do this. Konga is the best of the three Nigerian-based affiliate programs mentioned before. And the speed of accepting your application is a very uplifting factor (they reply you within 1 to 3 days or so). With Jumia, you must own a blog or website that pulls a decent amount of traffic. Whereas, Konga accepts people who own nothing but a Facebook or Twitter account (that’s how my application was approved). Do you wanna join Konga Affiliate Program? Here is what you need to know: WHAT YOU NEED, TO BECOME A KONGA AFFILIATE: Nothing!!! You just need the desire and passion to join. You are not compelled to have a blog/website (although it helps gain more traffic to your links). • Social Media Networks: Your Facebook account, Twitter account, LinkedIn account, Google+ account, WhatsApp account, BBM and Youtube Channels can be used for more than just social interactions. With the right steps, you can turn your fans, friends and followers into loyal customers. In the social media mentioned above, go join Groups and Communities that relate to the main products you want to sell. Initially, become friends with the group members; post interesting stuff to the group, like and comment on other group member posts and gain trust. Then, start advertising your Konga products. Additionally or alternatively, you could create your own Fan Page or Group with titles relating to what you want to sell. Then, invite people to join the group or page. Post product reviews or advice on your page regularly. Accompany your posts with captivating pictures and your Konga product links. • Paid Advertising: You can promote Konga products through paid traffic (e.g, search engines). There are many avenues for paid advertising. You could pay Google (using their Google Adwords program) to advertise your Konga product links for you through their search engines (Google search and Youtube). Or, you could pay Facebook to advertise your Konga product links and banners. All those adverts you see on Facebook and Youtube, are there because people like you and me paid $5, $10, $15, $20, $25, …, according to the budget they can afford. The longer the number of days or weeks you want your ads to show and be visible on those sites, the more your budget has to be. If you do your planning well, the return on investment could be mind-blowing – Even Konga recommends paid ads method because, data they collect show that majority of their affiliates, make their sales through paid ads. The first Konga commission(s) I earned was through paid ad. I made N 5,765.00 from a single campaign. Sustain your campaigns and who knows? You might just become the new million naira Konga Affiliates earner, like Paschal Okafor of Naija Tech Guide! • Blog or Website: If you own a blog/website, or at least know someone who does, Write articles about Konga products and paste your links either as text links or Image/banner links. To add Konga banner codes to your blogger posts/pages: • Sign in to your Blogger dashboard • Visit the Layout Tab • Click 'Add A Widget (or Gadget)' • Choose 'Html or Javascript Gadget' ... About midnight of the 15th of May 2015, a top commander of the dreaded Islamist Fundamentalist Group, ISIS (alias ISIL), was killed by US special forces in Syria. Air strikes were carried out to soften the target; before the Commandos were sent to apprehend him (Abu Sayyaf). However, it was reported that Abu Sayyaf resisted capture and engaged the US soldiers in close combat. The fight was intense and at some point, hand to hand combat was used. Abu Sayyaf’s wife, Umm Sayyaf (who was his second in command), was captured and taken to Iraq for interrogation, sources say. (CNN) - U.S Special Operations forces have successfully Killed a senior ISIS commander during a raid intended to capture him in eastern Syria overnight Friday to Saturday, U.S Secretary of Defense Ash Carter said. Abu Sayyaf was said to have resisted capture and was killed in the raid in al-Amr, he said in a statement. Carter had ordered the raid at the direction of the President, Barack Obama. ALL the U.S troops involved in this operation returned home safely. Although, one of them had a bloodied knuckle; from the hand to hand combat. “Abu Sayyaf was involved in ISIL’s military operations and is in charge of the terrorist organization’s financial operations, illicit oil and gas trade and is in charge of its overall economic runnings”. Umm Sayyaf, his wife, is believed to be involved in human trafficking and female hostage taking; probably for sex slaves. Many of such girls were released during the raid. About a dozen ISIS fighters were killed in the firefight at a residential building in Deir Ezzor, the sources said. Abu Sayyaf, though not popular to many ISIS watchers, has always been under the watchful eyes of the U.S government and a decision to send ground forces was a risky but necessary one. This attack may not be unconnected to the recent gains made by the ruthless group as it stormed Ramadi some time this week, taking over mosques and government buildings. There is great fear of ISIS possibly bull-dozing ancient Syrian City Landmarks that not only holds significance to the owners, but also to the world; as those structures are a part of our collective human history – The ancient site of Palmyra in Syria (a UNESCO world heritage site). There is no word yet as to whether any storage and communications equipments were found at the site. If their Laptops, Phones and other gadgets are found and decrypted, it will go a long way in uncovering all the people involved in sponsoring ISIS, the flow of command and its allies.
