Do you think a mere jamb score would guarantee you an admission in any University?

This is a story of a guy that got the highest in OAU 2013 P.utme(339/400) or so.
The guy initially applied for MBBS and Dibu gave him 210 in JAMB which he wasn't impressed of. He know that he deserves more than that score but stil got "change of course form" to Biochemistry. In P.UTME, he got 339 i.e 339 + 210 = 549/2 aggregate 274.5 and OAU Mbbs cuttoff was 271 that year.
Can you imagine? He never got MBBS but BCH. I'm sure the dude is living to regret it now.

My Advice: if you know that you can do well in P.UTME, get off the internet and study studiously(it doesn't mean you should emancipate yourself from social network. All work and no play makes jack a dull boy). I have seen many cases where someone with 260 in jamb without an expo couldn't score more than 200 in P.UTME or scored a bit above 200.

I've decided to stop complaining abt my score and find a way to make lemonade out of my lemons.
I scored 206(sh!tty ryt?), and I'm aspiring for MBBS at IMSU with abt 36xx other aspiring(crazy... I know). Now I know my chances are as slim as the word slim gets bt lyf must go on.
so what do you guys advice, that I take the bull by its horns and compete against 36xx people or switch to either Biochemistry or Microbiology?

Advice from someone who has written jamb 4 times
switch to a related course, finish your Degree, if its a 4 years course,you should finish a year after the Next world cup.

There was a Biology question that had option A and D as correct answers. Had I known, I'd have left it blank instead of choosing A.

I was About to Freak out, when I Remembered a Trick I Saw on Myschool.
If your Computer instantly logs you out 'With your Time left'
Just Input your Registration number, But The Last Two Alphabets Should be in small Letters.

Yeah, Some of the Question Were Damn Cheap.
E.g Chem. What is the Shape Of CO2 Molecule

Let's not Hype the "Cheap". Some Questions Require a Great Deal of I.Q....Coz Most times the Options are Deceiving.

Some Past Questions were Repeated with Different Data, Same Options. The right Answer is Different from the One in Q&A.
Jamb isn't Stvpid Afterall... So don't just Cram the Answers, Understand it.

Finished my Jamb with 40mins left....

Like seriously. It is becoming more aggravating. How I wish Nigerian youth could open their eyes to see the damaging flaws in Jamb. Tho it's normal to face challenges when starting a new innovation, nevertheless there are some undiscardable faults in Jamb.

Mr Proton, Nigeria is a Developing Country, and a Country with Less Patriots Compared to its Population.
CBT is a Newly Introduced System of Jamb Examination, Don't Expect Perfection.
Loop Holes are Countless, Let's Try to Think Outside the Box, By Supporting the Effort of Jamb.

the Truth is Jamb loses More Money Financially in CBT Than in Ppt. the Producers of this Cbt App, Take about 40% of the Total Annual Revenue.(its the Innovation of a Foreign Company)

Yet Jamb Upholds this System of CBT. Please, I know Many Innocent Wards will Fall Victim of Circumstance. As years Progress there will be a Certain Level of Discipline, both on the Side of the Invigilators and the Network Malfunction.
