Good Evening House,

I have been going through this thread, what a wonderful experience. I want to go for my MSc in the UK with my family. My first degree is in Geology, which course should I consider going for in order to fit into the UK society when I am done with study. Your advice is needed.

Romance / Re: Guys Or Ladies: Who Moves On Easily After Breakup? by cdieli(m): 5:32pm On Jul 19, 2020
Guy you are a cold blooded beast, your write up shows that you do not even trust yourself; must your relationship be defined by money 100%. I know two love birds who went apart because of a little difference. Local man was always comparing her to other girls, I had to tell my guy to pick up the phone and call her that was after two years they went apart. Today, they are married just pick up the phone and call you never can tell.

My friend go and face your demons Buhari and Tinubu. You guys think you are wise, see as your wisdom is turning to stupidity. The principle motive of you Yoruba's supporting PMB was for him to die so that Osinbanjo will take over grin grin Quote me, that Demon you guys created will consume you all. Igbo's have a way of adapting into any given problem.

The Ibo will come here and said all kind of rubbish about what's happening. They understand not politic of Nigeria, they have not a single leader, no machinery in place for a possible leadership position, they don't speak in uniform voice, they have no dominant party of their own.

If they are behind politically they should have been strong economically but they are not, if they are not favoued politically they should have built a region that will be safest for investors, hell no ,all I see is jealousy and hatred for Yoruba people. And come to think of it, they benefited most from Yoruba outside of their region.

Prostrating is no respect please. Its the tradition in Yoruba land. If he does not want to stand by the tradition do be it
chinjo:
Is Sowore really a Yoruba man? They Yoruba's are well known for their respect expeciall for elders. For him not to prostrate for a Kabiyesi is an abomination.
Politics / Re: FG Purchases N50m Earthquake Monitoring Equipment by cdieli(m): 8:14am On Sep 08, 2018
After reading this write up, I don't know how this man ended up in this position. Am a Geologist by profession, we should not mistake a tremor with an earthquake. The Sub-saharan African plate have been quite for about 1.5 million years that does not mean that a movement can not occur at any given time. Lets localize this present experience that is taking place right now in Abuja. Abuja, is located around the Granite belt and a lot of blasting activities takes place over there. This blasting which is man made can cause seismic waves to the subsurface there by causing Fault movement in a sinusoidal direction. That I believe is what is causing the tremor taking place. The only earth monitoring equipment found in Nigeria is about 50 years old at the University of Ibadan.

I get it Bro. my fingers were not burnt but newbies here suffered a great quake because of the misleading interpretation of the old wines

Yes old wines taste better than newbies because they know how to use the technical and fundamental analysis in quotes. What i noticed from majority of the old wines is that they come to promote the shares they just bought. Its just a few old wines like FXUSER who will give you a reason(fundamental and technical) why they selected a stock

Investment / Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by cdieli(m): 1:24pm On Jun 01, 2018
This forum is not advisable for newbies. The old wines in the house were not helpful during this bearish run; they kept advising newbies to keep buying.Someone here even said with the rising price of oil we should expect the bulls to be back. Right now when I read comments of the old wines I grin because they don't know if to sell or to hold. I wish my fellow newbies a happy trading grin grin grin grin grin grin

Are you suggesting we buy more of FBNH, When will be the best time to sell
fxuser:

Their Summary :

Overall, we forecast 2018F EPS of N3.18 (+85% YoY) and DPS of N1.43. FBNH trades at a P/B of 0.7x compared to peer average of 1.4x with FY 17 P/B of 0.4x at a discount to peer average of 0.9x.

Furthermore, at current pricing, its 2017E dividend translates to dividend yield of 6.4%. Our FVE of N16.69 translates to a 32% upside from current pricing.

Consequently, we rate the stock a STRONG BUY, reflecting attractive valuation and a view that fundamentals will improve going forward
