I watched some matches of our Olympics '96 Dream Team recently and I observed Kanu Nwankwo was the Captain of that very successful team despite him being one of the youngest players.

This was despite the presence in that team of older, more experienced & full fledged internationals & Super Eagles regulars like Uche Okechukwu, Victor Ikpeba, Emmanuel Ammuneke, Daniel Amokachi etc.

But in this days, our coaches give the Captain's arm band to the oldest/most senior player in the team.

This raises the question; Should the Captain's Arm Band be Given to a player based on AGE, NO OF YEARS IN THE NATIONAL TEAM OR MERIT i.e A player with proven leadership qualities who rallies the team and inspires his team mates cos lets face it. . .the oldest or most senior players may not have these qualities.

It's interesting to note that although Yobo (& Enyeama) was our captain on the field @ the last AFCON, Mikel more or less acted the role.

NLDers, what do you think? Should the Captain arm band be given to the oldest player (by age in the team), the most senior & experienced player (by years in the National team) or strictly by merit (even if he's the youngest player in the team).

Hello nairalander, just discovered a new system fraudsters use, i needed a brand new but very small deep freezer and i asked google.
It displayed google trader, i saw lg 171 litres deep freezer 3 people were selling for 25k, i called and asked if it could be delivered to my office, he said yes and he told me to deposit some money in to his account,and that his agent will deliver it to me,i said no! I would pay when i see, 140 litre deep freezer in my area cost 45k, i ask him to send me his office address, he ended the phone conversation, the other sellers i called also used the same technique, i grew suspicious, and visited about 4 offices where brand new deep freezer are sold and the least price i got for 140litre freezer was 42k, while 171 litre in google trader is 25k, saw another 110litre deep freezer in google and i called the seller he said 20k but i was told to pay into an account b4 i can get it. Guys pls beware
