There is a growing imbalance in the distribution of healthcare professionals across the world. According to WHO, countries with the lowest relative disease burden have the highest number of health workers, while those with the greatest burden of disease must make do with a much smaller health workforce!

It is no longer news that our healthcare system is lagging behind in terms of inadequate manpower; both in number and specialties, infrastructural inadequacies and lack of modern therapeutic and diagnostic equipment.
But today, we are going to talk about another very important element that is conspicuously missing in our healthcare system. That is none other than data driven insight in clinical decision making and response to health emergencies. Despite the importance of data driven healthcare interventions to healthcare professionals, in the delivery of efficient and cost-effective healthcare services, it is rarely talked about in this clime! Data driven intervention has to do with combination of digital patient care documentation and, infusion of Artificial intelligence and Machine Learning application in healthcare delivery process.
However, we cannot talk about data driven insight in healthcare delivery if we have not digitalized our healthcare documentation. As at today, less than one percent of our healthcare facilities have adopted digital documentation of patient care in their practice. Even at that, most of their documentations are stored in isolated information silos, resident in their local servers.

Let me tell you my personal experience with tires. I use to buy tokunbo tire until one day, the passenger side rear tokunbo tire that was fitted on my car exploded on third main land bridge and even before that, I have experienced burst tire two previous occasion. They were all tokunbo tires. Each time I always steer the car to safety.
After the last episode, I bought four double king tires and up till now, I have not experienced burst tire again or even flat tire. I also make sure the tire pressure is not more than 35psi with my personal tire guage.
On the other hand, I asked a friend that work in the same office with me to buy double king as I did and he took my advice. But instead he chose to make the tire pressure 45psi and he travelled to delta State with the car after which the tire got swollen and he has since changed the tire and maintain the psi at 35 now.
