Drug business is dominated by Orlu and Ihiala people while spare parts is Nnewi and Ozubulu, Phone accessories are mostly Ebonyi while stockfish and Okrika are mostly Northern Abians. In every city I've been to including Port Harcourt I live the same pattern repeats itself in lines of business distributed among Southeastern States. You really need to visit Aba and Onitsha then you'll realize Onitsha needs a lot of work to be done there.

I dont get involved in this comparison because I don't want to get into unnecessary arguments with my fellow Igbo but I agree Onicha and Awka are not where they need to be due to incompetence of Obiano.
Apart from the fact that Onicha was completely abandoned by Willie Obiano who didn't follow up where Obi left off you have to factor the fact that Onicha and Anambra state is the fastest growing economy in south east which means there has to be an aggressive infrastructural push to even the development trend. My point is that Onicha cant be compared to ABA. Onicha has more pressing problems than Aba but I am not making excuses for Obiano. Obiano failed woefully as a governor. Onicha collapsed under Obiano.

As for Awka, I don't know why any informed observer would compare Awka to Owerri and Enugu city. These two towns are some of the oldest capitals ever created and it wont be fair to compare them to Away which was a more recent creation.

As for Abakaliki, I disagree with you. I have seen those Abakaliki pictures I found it offensive when compared to Awka.

Aba is a ghetto compare to Onitsha.

It is even an insult writing your dirty backward chaotic unplanned Aba on the same sentence with Onitsha.

Go and do online poll of Aba, you will be shocked how backward that town is. And you have the guts to compare it with a progressive city like Onitsha.
