Cleo's dairy: they are doing great with the task, the sculpture is coming along. The challenge is the video getting the message across in 30secs. She writes music and thinks it will come along well. If she has been affected by lack of electricity: there's load shedding in Zambia but they still cope. Can't imagine what it is for those who don't have it at all, that's why they are doing this. What Africans can do to alleviate such problems: switch off electric appliances that you're not using to avoid using electricity carelessly. Nominees: expected it, she doesn't take it personally coz she also nominated, hopes for the best. If Africa believes she deserves to be in the game, she will be very happy. She jokingly says she thought she was a nice person till she came to the house, maybe she doesn't rub off people the right way. Says its a game, she doesn't take it personally. Doesn't see herself as competition but would like to know the reasons why she's nominated. HOH decision: believes she saved Bimp. They are all close but Bimp is closest to her (beverly). She thinks Bev replaced with Dillish coz of Ghana and Nigeria being neighbors she wouldn't put her Ghanaian brother. She's very nervous about Sunday but hopeful. Doesn't want the nomination thing to overshadow this weeks task. She's doing fine and looking forward to the end of the show, has come a long way and will not lose hope. #borrowed |

Elikem's diary: Nominees:he was expecting his name but unfortunately he was disappointed for his name was not mentioned among nominees.About nóminas: Cleo and Feza's name he expected it and he was shocked to hear Bimp's name and he now have to deal with the trauma of being swapped. He also needed a fresh hair cut.Either him and Dillish have been swapped. He think Bev replaced Bimp for him and he is ready for whatever .If replaced he still hope Africa save him.He want to get to top five and win the money.Based on the task they are trying to build the sculpture which is not good at all.Their painting are done,he will on his presentation include his tailoring.Housemates are taking the task seriously and this touches them in a way.Power cut affected his country, either from 6am to 6pm.Education both formal and informal is neccessary as a way of bringing awareness.African leaders have to be one and voice out this issues affecting Africa. With the chase tour crew they will also spread the gospel about issues affecting Africa.Elikem said he has been home sick and thanked his family and Africa for having saved him. #borrowed |

Dillish's Ds They are doing quite good, everyone is happy, believes everyone will stick to what has been instructed and stay away from food, they have to be selfless. Alter egos housemates may have~ Elikem and Melvin are princes from a kingdom, she's a princess and a mermaid, Cleo is a fairy godmother, Beverly is a blond and Feza is just Feza. Nominees: Cleo was a surprise, they predicted that she saved Bimp and replaced with her. Beverly is her friend, she understands that she had to do what she had to to though Bev has been avoiding her which is sad but is still gonna chase her coz she still loves her, she's her girl. The way she's behaving towards her shows that she has put her up, others are close to her. How safe she feels: 50/50 chance coz all nominees have been saved before and are strong. All are enjoying the task, its gonna be fun and she's looking forward to cooking for the children tomorrow and hopes they get to see them, she loves kids they lighten up the mood. Excited about the video and the presentation, its one of her best tasks so far. #borrowed |

ella.b: oneal interview
You and Feza have been under scrutiny since your relationship started, why do you think you’ve been the most talked about couple in this season?
I think it’s because of my strong personality, our union made it very easy for her to conform to who I am. In a sense she was sort of swallowed up by my personality which I stand by all the time, I’ll admit I’m a bit of a tough person to deal with so at the end of the day viewers saw a relationship that consisted of two submissive and controlling individuals and I guess that made for good television which ultimately made our relationship the most talked about in comparison to the others. I came across as someone who has control issues and I will not necessarily disagree with the public, I’m a person who controls their space and Feza came into my space and when you are in my space chances are - I will control you
It’s interesting that you speak about control, because a couple of weeks ago we asked Bassey to predict the next evictees. He actually said that you and Feza were next. He claims you were not only conspirers but that your relationship was an absolute pretense and that you were very much controlling of everyone, what’s your comment on that?
First of all Bassey is 22 years old, so it’s very difficult for me to draw anything out of any statements he makes and no disrespect to him and his country. but I think he’s too immature to analyze or rationalize any situation that involves me. I’m a very complex person that deserves a lot more than a measly comment from Bassey.
What was your best tactic for surviving the Big Brother House?
I’ll revert back to my strong personality comment because when we first entered the house I was very reserved, I analyzed people and the strategic ways they played the game, so that really worked for me because people couldn’t figure me out. However, I will admit that my strategy worked up until I met Feza where a lot of dynamics started to change, I put my guard down and had to accommodate somebody else. Within that process I started opening up to not only her but to other people in the house too and in terms of errors in my strategy. That’s where things began to fall apart for me as a player in the game but at the same time I don’t want this to be misconstrued as me saying that I regret getting into a relationship with Feza. If anything, I sacrificed and I was willing to sacrifice my strategy because I had met someone special and in a way I let go of my controlling characteristics and submitted to my feelings.
Speaking about opening up, and just letting you guard down. Whilst on the show we saw you have very deep & meaningful conversations with Bimp who was also Bassey’s least favorite housemate, would you say that you’ve gained yet another brother in Bimp?
Too a large extent and that’s thanks to Feza, because at first I didn’t know Bimp that well but Feza insisted that I actually meet up with him because she believed that Bimp is so much like me mature wise especially. So I agreed to meet up with Bimp and when we met I felt a very intriguing depth about him and from there on I found it very easy to relate and talk to him on an intellectual level. I found that he is a very mature person although I saw a bit of weakness in him when it came to how he played the game. I will go back to the age comment because despite how wise he is at the end of the day he is still a 23 year old who is likely to make mistakes and yes I have gained a brother in him.
You’re also a radio personality back home and considering that you have a following that likes and dislikes you, are you a bit weary of how your followers back home will react to you when going back on air?
Not necessarily, the one thing I know about my country is that it doesn’t matter where I am in the world, I always know that I’m their son, their child and that’s how they’ll always treat you. You go out there in the world and make mistakes, and they see those mistakes but they’re very forgiving because it’s just something that’s within us as people from Botswana. I know that many will crucify me for the things I’ve done and said in the house but I know my country, only a very few will hold onto the mistakes I’ve done. The rest will appreciate my work on Big Brother, Botswana has my back all the way.
You once mentioned that the reason you entered Big Brother was because you believed the house lacked you, seeing that you’ve gained this experience would you audition for the competition again?
Quite frankly I wouldn’t audition for the competition again and with me mentioning that Big Brother needed an O’Neal I meant that, I say this without even flinching, Big Brother needed O’Neal so bad and I’m just glad I put it the way it is, because I left my mark and I know I have changed as an individual because of the game. The fact is I’ve created dialogue, and the dialogue I’ve created across Africa isn’t necessarily a soppy one where people pretend to love each other. I opened up a platform for people to really say what they feel about other countries, and how one could express themselves about the overbearing nature of some West Africans. I feel that we dance around certain regions of Africa simply because they are more popular than others and I felt that it just makes us inferior. Somebody had to just stand up against that and I was that person. i read this, this morning and i was like wow! wtf? |

Bimp's Ds His day has been good.he is nt much of an artistic person.he thinks this is the most task the housemates have ever been committed.they wagered 100percent because it's for everybody.they are making sculptures go up because they have lost artistic pple over the week.d brief made him to realise how important energy is.he has lived without electricity for over a week,he lives alone and he faced a hard time during that period. He thinks africans shld conserve energy and african govt shld concentrate on sources of energy e.g solar power though it's expensive.Their sculpture is a bulb, made of diff materials they hv been provided with. He will like to change many things.he will like to be a part of a movement that aims for changes and reach out to concerned parties in other to make life easier for people. He cnt say how he feels abt his name being up for eviction.he was nervous to some extent.he had a tough week last week.he cnt speculate anythng abt bev's decision.knwin bev's closeness to everyone,he cnt determine.hope he survives this week.whether he survives by bev's decision or africa,he will like to keep going on.one love, one blood, one africa. |

bev's Ds its easy being d hoh for her except sundays and mondays.she had to do wat she had to do last night.nothing makes her nervous abt her decision yesternyt.dillish is her closefrnd as well as maria.she has begged her housemates to understand d save and replace decision. One campaign task is a gud 1.they need more creativity.her IQ is low to compose poems cos of her days spent in d house.elikem's painting is nice as well as melvin's.they are making light bulbs and putting cans to make electricity pass through them.in her country, she's used to power outage. Fasting is wat she does on mondays and before it came up angelo told her he was gonna stay away frm meat.they are all fine wit the fastin.most times d power is taken for 1week and she still has to pay the bills.people with business suffer for it and they have to buy fuel including herself.missed some part sha. |
