Sorry. Just redo an affidavit from Ikeja High Court. That’s if you can still reapply. I’m not saying there’s something special with using theirs, but your approach is clearly not working.

The High Court in Ikeja, for example, has a confirmation-of-name service. The person in the forum who did their visa successfully using an Affidavit used a High Court. This is why I asked.

I joined the waiting list Aug 6th last year and was told to submit my documents last week(10 days ago).
Attached is a screenshot from my dashboard requesting that I should upload a language proficiency cert.
Please I need clarification based on this. I have not heard of anyone who applied as a skilled worker(vocational) who was asked for language proficiency cert or did i miss that info??

I think you meant “long time frame”.

You can’t appeal for a shorter time in the opportunity card category. Processing time for a work visa is faster. I’ll suggest you apply for that instead.

The opportunity card is not for full-time. For work, they’ll only accept a part-time job that meets the salary requirement.

If you finished from a university that is recognized you don't need job experience. However you can show that you have been attempting to apply for a job.

My apologies. Send a new follow-up and clarify that they are referring to the short-stay Schengen VIDEX form, not the opportunity card VIDEX form.

In the Schengen one, you can select a hotel as a reference.

thanks for responding, this is exactly what I did, but the visa officer is asking me to change or chose hotel as a type of reference which is impossible as I only have 3 options, I have explained severally to them, but they keep insisting i change it which is so weird. "Dear Applicant, please be informed that without providing the right information, an application CANNOT be processed SUCCESSFULLY. In your own case, you intend to stay in a hotel and thus, you HAVE TO choose HOTEL as the type of reference and then fill in the details accordingly. In the case where YOU cannot find hotel, which is an available option, we cannot provide any further guidiance. We can only implore you to choose the right ref. type & fill in the right information."

How is "Hotel" an available option? I have repeatedly messaged back to say this isn't even an option for me, but this person keeps insisting it is and it's available for me to choose but it's not, I am just tired. Issue hasn't been resolved, they extended the date and asked me to change the reference type to "Hotel" I replied back it's beyond my powers to do so, no custom field to manually input it, nothing and I cannot even send a screenshot for them to see.

I'm in a frustrating situation and need help urgently. My application will be deleted today at 12 noon if I don't resolve this.
The visa officer keeps asking me to change the "Type of Reference" to "Hotel" for my accommodation. The problem is there is NO hotel option in the dropdown.
The only options available are:

Reference person
Educational establishment/company/organisation
Accredited Diplomat

I initially selected "Reference person" but they asked for PR/residence documents of someone in Germany - which I don't have.
So I changed it to "Educational establishment/company/organisation" since a hotel is technically a registered business. Now they're telling me to change it to "Hotel" - an option that doesn't exist.

I've tried explaining this to the visa officer but they keep insisting I change it to Hotel without acknowledging that the option isn't there.
Has anyone faced this issue? What did you select for Type of Reference when staying at a hotel?

Any help appreciated - I'm running out of time.

There is no org/school as a type of reference in the VIDEX form option. The second option is “Educational establishment/company/organization”.

If this is what you chose, the caption they may be referring to is the fourth field titled, “Organisation’s objectives/area of activity“. Or maybe its an option that appeared when they previously asked you to provide a residence permit. This is because VIDEX form don't allow uploading documents. In one of your previous comment you said “attached proof of residence “.

Instead of choosing org/education, I chose reference. I guess this was the reason they asked for the PR document, I have updated it to the later and now attached proof of residence.

In this youtube video, the person did say we can add a hotel reservation in this type of reference selection.

The truth is, you aren’t really clear about what your are experiencing.

A date of birth is different from a birth certificate.

this isn't true, if you chose reference instead or org/education, you'd have to provide PR of the said reference in germany. If you chose the later, your chosen residence info should suffice.

As long as your visa hasn’t been rejected yet, that’s a plus. But I’ll suggest sending a follow-up email.

I have done my interview since last month

During the interview, the lady asked me to provide the date of Birth of my reference. I did not have it there. I requested that she allows me go out and get it but she declined and said I should send her a mail instead when I get home.

I did that and sent a mail with my reference details

Who is a Network Engineer
A Network Engineer design, implement, and monitor Information Technology infrastructure w•thin an enterprise or service provider. It basically has to do with making sure employees computers are a able to communicate with each other via cables, switches and routers, communicate with other employees in their branch office, or share resources. The network engineers would set up this infrastructure at the main office, then configure the network devices. This configuration can be done remotely or in person. I know, I know, you read it correctly, remotely, most of the time the Network Engineer do not need to be in the office to configure or monitor the IT infrastructure.

How to begin
They are a lot of conflict on the best path to take to begin this journey. The best bet is to begin with studying the CompTIA Network* study guide, as this is a vendor neutral certification.. Taking the exam after studying for it is not really a must, the main thing is you get the knowledge and jump to something more advanced. Diving right into the Cisco Certified Network Associate or Juniper Network Certified Associate might seem cool at first, but when you are stuck with questions and you ask someone or make a google search, more new terms will be brought up and then you end up just giving up. While through the Network* material, if you find it easy, skip it and dive right into a vendors infrastructure.

Why are a lot of people not taking this path
• It is not preached about enough: I heard about the word Packet during my was year in College, and it was from a course mate. A Getting the right resources is not easy: They are a lot of computer networking books out there and sometimes knowing the right one to begin with is why.
• Electrical communication engineering is confused for network engineering: Electrical communications has to do with designing electronic circuits and devices. Network engineering is concerned with configuring those devices with IP addresses, domain names, etc, so the devices can communicate with each other.
• People think network engineering is extremely difficult so they opt to the known cool paths thinking that if the path is popular then a lot of folks are finding it easy. Example: Software development, Cyber security, etc.

Closing Thoughts
If you are looking to start something easy, then I hate to break it to you that nothing really is easy. But with perseverance, hard work, consistency, and repetition the sky is just starting point. Begin your journey then dive right into a vendors infrastructure like Cisco, Juniper or Huawei.
