Every Fraternity regards itself as the dominant force among others, weda na u 1st me come or not.
So how does such fraternity establish that dominance,if not via the use of violence.
Bros,u understand this game better than others na.

Its just like saying %Benin na Dem Ayes get am all oda jufrat be yanma yanma. As for SEC we go pursue dem comot mk dem go play the game comot for Benin.%

You know I find it funny someone trying to differentiate between AYE and NBM.
1. You are being addressed as a Lord in your portfolio it is said that a graduated member in any Tertiary institution automatically becomes a Lord, while the temples bears Aye.
2. You assume you are different but you lords/heads when it comes to full honours boast of your SN, Year blended and Temple wey born u.
3. You still have the names of all the temples in your portfolio Abi. Regard and receive gifts and honors from each of them. Receive taxes.
Most of them are your errand boys, bastards!!!.

THERE ARE NO DIFFERENCES BETWEEN AYE AND NBM THEY ARE ALL CAMOUFLAGE OF AN EVIL GROUP. WE SHOULDN'T TALK ABOUT HOW NBM CHANGED ITS NAME IN SPAIN ABI WITH THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE HEAD OF SPAIN, ZONAL HEAD MADRID AND WORLDWIDE HEAD FELIX ALL BECAUSE OF INCREASE IN CRIME RATE TO 'OF AFRICA'.

another write up I saw somewhere countered the claim that any Lord Leopold declared a national hit and he also urged all of their members to stay clear of violence and that anyone caught misbehaving under d guise of NBM will be deaxed and handed over to security operatives... so definitely some blood thirsty dirty and possessed aye boys are the ones carrying out all this deadly attacks

You believed that. Lol, Dont forget that the same Lord was a former Temple member (Aye) before graduating as a Lord and now a position as Head of NBM Benin zone, which is the home of NBM worldwide.
Don't let them sell lies to you. You can be lied to, then when you are in the game you realise its a dual life.
He is the Head of NBM in Benin which comprises of Temples, Forums. Temples under Benin zone such as FUTA JALLON 1, FUTAL JALLON 2, UDI HT, IKPITAN HT, SANAGA HT and many more Foras pays max.regard to the Zonal Head. Disregard every thing he says about being innocent. If he really wants peace he should take it up, pay a visit with all heads of other cult group invite the national, temple heads for a referendum and drop of arms by all wielding cultists.
How can you define a movement whose symbol uses an axe, gun, cutlass? A head of a movement who collects tax and Levy's from undergraduates?
What they are good at is to quickly disassociate themselves from campus violence, but when a campus member graduate they quickly induct him into the Zonal body without background check. They are now used as fraud syndicate.

No matter how National OC LEGAL tries to defend the NBM in and out of court they get up attracting troubles from themselves. The reason is simple. THEY ARE THE SAME OLD PEOPLE. THEY ARE THE SAME WINE. I CAN CONTINUE WITH MY MEMBERS HERE SET UP A FORUM PUSG MY SELF THROUGH THE ZONAL REGION POSITION AS AN ACTIVE LORD FOR ALMOST TEN YEARS. I WOULD STILL BEAR SYMPATHY TO MY TEMPLE OF BIRTH.
CAN HE SWEAR HE DOES NO LONGER BEAR SYMPATHY, OR SOME OF HIS FRIENDS WHO ARE NOW LECTURERS IN THE SAME INSTITUTION WOULD TURN A BLIND EYE, KNOWING FULLY WELL THEY CAN STILL BE TARGET.

IT IS EASY GIVE A COMMAND, THEN COME OUT TO DENY IT. THAT IS WHY IT IS A CULT.
SAY NO TO CULTISM.

Happy new year people, the curve of cultism is not flattening anytime soon despite the killings, in Benin, the eiyes are still bitter and are planning some major hits. Bayelsa, the greenlanders are planning a serious war with the icelanders. In Cross river, the klansmen are targeting the ayes over the 2019 war that saw them lose notable men. Rivers, iceland and bobos are waiting for security to lax so they can resume killings. Lagos, ayes are waiting to strike any eiye man in retaliation over their member killed on christmas day and in Ibadan war between eiye and aye commenced last night.

Exmilitant...Yes, you are very correct. I smell war again.

CharleyGold, in all, you and i should agree that the menace of cultism was confined to the school enviroment back then. Growing up in the streets of Portharcourt in the late 80s and 90s we scarcely heard of cultism, because their activities was strictly played out in schools. For the record i think PC pulled out of the universities around 2004 or thereabout 'cause i met them in school. And they now go by the name Seadogs.... After reading through the experiences of the OP and others, i decided to give my own account of cultism as it is. My viewpoint will differ greatly from those of you here who have narrated their experiences. And this does not mean i am in support of cultism in any form, so no insult please. As an insider and one who played the game from, Dewell to Iceland to Vikings to Outlaws and for one who has gone for amnesty in South Africa, Dubai and Israel, i think i am also qualified to make my input for others to learn. And thank God there is CharleyGold who is very intelligent and rationale.

Yes you are correct. I can still attest to the fact of presence of PC in school till the mid 90s and early 2000s.
Wole Soyinka had ordered them out of the school environment but they still operated for years which led to their change of Name and the body disassociating from the campus bodies. Wole Soyinka an intelligent man had longed seen the dangers in the long run and made the early call, however nature took its fate. The PC still remained in tertiary institutions till the 2000s.

I will stop here and leave you to continue your own story. Thanks for the conversation.. Good afternoon!

Good morning CharleyGold, i am happy to find a brilliant person like you here and one with a fair knowledge of cultism!..... Did you know that up to the 90s the PC controls SU affairs in almost all institutions in the country? So it would be illogical to say the govt paid cultists to counteract SU activities since they were cultist as well. What the govt did was support the formation and establishment of other cult group just to whittle the influence of the PC who were always challenging their policy. Obasanjos govt was aware of the formation of ayes in '77 but did nothing. Awolowo gave them his blessings just to spite Soyinka. Another reason for the proliferation of cultism on our campuses was the high handedness and totalitarian ways of the PC.... In 1982 risen angel led others to establish the viking confraternity in Rivers state and the game took a different dimension....

I agree with you 100%. You are very much correct. NBM was formed in uniben as a result of the connivance of the then PC and the school authority. PC were at the sympathy of the school authority and held so many posts.
Same as BAN broke out from the PC because of the expulsion of one of its members from the PC. It was not in all institutions that Fraternity had superior powers over the SU.
The few then, I can recall in a statement issued by Omoyele Sowore on how he was attacked as a student right activist by government paid cultist in 93/94. Some schools still maintained standards and this was a major threat to the military govt.
I think we shouldn't mix up the era, they were non cult killings in the early 80s and late 70s despite the authoritarian rule of the PC. No doubt, the genesis was the PC despite their high handedness fraternal wars weren't bloody.
Let me give a breakdown tho:
1. 1953 - 1970s : PC, Eiye reigned in the tertiary institution. PC had the uppermost powers then. They sought for freedom of the common black man and uphold the socio -cultural activities on campus. They also sought the need to fraternization as they wanted equality on campus with the rich and white.
2.1970s - The era of oppression by the then oppressed (PC) who turned out to be the latter (oppressor) led to the BAN and AYE confraternity.
3. 1980s(early) - The increase in fraternal groups brought unhealthy rivalry, and unnecessary competition. Fights broke out but restored.
The vikings confraternity was formed.
4.1980 (mid) - Wole Soyinka called on the disbandment of PC confraternity (1984) due to increase in violence. First cult related killing happened a year after at Nsukka (1985).
5. Due to the uprising turmoil all forms of unionism were banned Nationwide. This include student unionism and fraternal bodies. After disbandment of PC, all fraternities were terned illegal and were asked not to operate in school environment.
6. This move made fraternity more secretive in action and became more careful.
7. 1980(late)- after the coup, the plot to silence democracy some well meaning activist who were past and present students came together to revive unionism. Rallies, protest were held against the authoritative military rule. After several assassination of journalists. The death of Dele giwa.
8. The military govt. Stepped in again solicited the help of the school authorities using bribery.
NOTE: BEFORE THE BAN ON UNIONISM AND FRATERNITIES, SU SPAREHEADED BY VARIOUS FRATERNAL GROUPS. AFTER THE BAN, THE WELL MEANING STUDENTS TOOK BACK ITS COURSE THEN THEY LOST CONTROL IN MID 90S OWING TO THE GOVT/SCHOOL AUTHORITIES.
9. Back to the reason fraternity was banned, because of its nefarious activities on campus. Some evil politicians then seeing the havoc they caused, used them against their enemies.
10. Late 1980s-early 90s: The only way, the school authority tended to control back its students were to fight them indirectly. Infiltrate back the students union government with cultist as it was before the ban. Funded them cash, guns to attack during students government elections. Enable the cultist to control power back and they control them.
11. They achieved this as they successful pushed out the students government. Already guns were already in circulation.
12: 1990s- till date: cultism spread from the institutions and streets as some were expelled of on institutions..

CharleyGold, i understand your arguements but you will agree with me that the menace of cultism in the country is worse than it was in the 80s and 90s, and i opined that it was because of the inclusion of non university students into the game. Perspective on this issue might differ depending on the institution or state. In unilag and ui, the buccanneers were the ones challenging the pc in the 80s and 90s while in uniport and unical the struggle was between the pc, vikings and buccanneers. I don't know about military aiding cultist as you stated, but i do know that the government of babangida did set up a tribunal in 1992 and wole soyinka was invited to give account of his involvement in pc activities on campus. This was after a pc shot dead an aye man in the then polycal now crutech in 1991 . That was the first cult related killing in Nigeria.

Thanks for your response.
There was this course we did back then in school, can't really remember the title but it was something "African culture and societies". A borrowed course tho... This books had written events of menace of cultism back then. There was a major flaw the book had then, it never stated his one can be free. It painted cultism as rocket science that the best remedy was to flee.
Back to where you said Soyinka was summoned,
You can see as far back as 1992 cultism was already a major concern. Soyinka stated that he had orders the PCs to seize activities as at '84. That was ti tell you how bad it was becoming.
Only I dont have access to such materials anymore. Crutech, Esut, UNN, et all where hot beds for cultism.
Countering your claims, the first cult related killing happened in UNN in 1986 the killing of a non cult member in relationship with a cult member gf. Then the shooting at school exams complex in Esut, we have the beheading if a student at Uniport in 1991.

MY MAIN POINT
Now, back to why I said military funded cultism back then. During the military rule, the only force that could stand against the government were the students body that why they where mainly intellectuals at senior posts. Some where already activists. It was kind of a strong solidarity group. Do you know the the Buhari's regime stopped any form of fraternal gathering, students unions. After the regime, the SU gained its voice back and the military seeing the mass it pulled stepped in to fight it.
The instruments were the fraternal bodies: PC, Ayes,Vikings, BAN,Eiye. You may be Wondering why they used the fraternal units. The military bribed the School VCs, profs, Drs, and school management to silence the SU because of its continual threat to authoritative govt.
Some of these VCs,Profs,Drs, and senior school staff were one time members of one cult or the other, some were patrons. They solicited their help as past members and brought them into play. They got funding from the government.
That was why till 1999 the cult groups saw the SU as another faction and fought them. We have the OAU massacre. When the SU moved about cramping down cultist and hideouts. Some were caught at staff quarters with guns and ammunitions.
Note: SU and school authority were always at logger heads. The fraternal bodies were on the side of school authority.

We are still on the same page I still stand that it got worse from the ND. The ND hadms the highest number if splinter groups from fraternity.
I can agree with you on the fact that fraternity first hit the creeks/streets in Rivers state. It was as a result of power to control the newly found gold 'CRUDE OIL'.

You guys are overstretching the word cultism. cultism became dirty when it was introduce on the streets. And the first cult group to roll cultism into the streets were the vikings in 1994 at sandfield Borokiri, Portharcourt. They were called beaches and later deywell. The vikings did this in order to counter the dominance of dof pirates in uniport then. The klansmen who broke away from the ayes also established their street gang in 1998 and called them deybam. The ayes and birdmen eiye, had their boys on the streets in the early 2000s, but some argue it was ealier than that saying it was in the late 1990s. Having laid this premise, i want to give a concise exposè on cultism in Nigeria and how it got this ugly...... Please my write ups here is for intelligent minds. Minds who do not see things in black and white.
I concur with you, but the menace of cultism you say did not start in Rivers state. Maybe, owing to the dates you put up there, you can say the menace of cultism in Rivers state and its environs.
My uncle was a cult member in the then ASUTECH ( Anambra State University of Technology) present day Unizik. That was during the reign of PC. Told countless stories on how he was saved and delivered from rivals. Supremacy started on campus between the AYES AND PIRATES IN THE 80S. IT WAS FROM THE INSTITUTION BEFORE IT SPREAD TO THE STREETS.
From your write up which I beg to differ, you opined that cultism took a different toll when it started from the streets/creeks which first broke out in PH.
I also wish to add that, before the mid 80s there have always been cult dispute but where not life claiming. Where it went worse was during the military regime, there was a protest held I think in 85 of Babangida's regime shortly after he overthrew Buhari or so.
The madness escalated when the military regime fought against the SU. The military caused this madness, they funded the cult groups then with weapons and cash to attack the SU. You may be wondering why? The SU then constantly clamoured for Democracy. Democracy was a threat to the military. Ask Sowore, what he faced. Guns, were so much in circulation, with the Pirates at the upper helm.

In my humble opinion, I can expantiate more on this, I hope to have a good dialogue when you come up with your points.
Good day.

This was my post earlier. On the death of my LM ju name Kingsley who was killed by Maf men.

Altair25:
Their near-deification of silence can be traced to their literal name itself. 'Cosa Nostra' is latin and it literally translates to 'our thing'. Everything about the family stays in the family and breaking the law of omerta by tattling to outside brings about an undebatable death penalty upon the Son who commits such an offence. The only people a Son owes an obligation to be both truthful and sincere with are his Dons, his GF, his elders in the game and his blood brothers (those he was initiated with) in the game.

I would have gotten annoyed by this post few years ago. It was just a pity. This was the sane cult group that fell my friend. With the help of some externals from Uyo/Calabar. I was also mapped too for falling.

That is by the way. Altair25, just brought back some memories. Well, what is done is done.
We should say no to cultism. That something as small as pair of shoes could cause the death of a man.

The family confraternity are also unforgiving just like any other cult. There is mo gain in cultism.
I may continue later tonight on the aftermath of my initiation process, how it dealt me a blow on me psychologically and academically.
.
Good Evening.

As we were approaching, we were told to pull off our slippers and tie our faces with a piece of black clothing. We were told it is an abomination for a JU to see the faces of an Axe man. We got closer to were fire was and a loud voice shouted at us to halt.
I could feel the heat from the fire from where I stood, we were asked to kneel down and they ordered us to Go naked on our boxers only. Then we were questioned, the questioning began, this was the mark of our first test, as an ITJ we were not meant to disclose no matter who asked you what led you to the initiation ground.
After this drilling (First stage -SECRECY), A FAMILIAR VOICE TOOK OVER AND ORDERD US TO GET UP AND STAND ON OUR KNEES. THAT FAMILIAR VOICE WAS KINGSLEY. I WAS SHOCKED AND REMEMBERED THAT HE LEFT US ON THE QUEUE AND HURRIEDLY LEFT INTO THE BUSH BEFORE US.
MY FRIEND WAS THE CHIEF BUTCHER IF THE TEMPLE THEN AND HE ORDERED MOST OF THE INITIATION DRILLING.
IN NBM, THE CHIEF BUTCHER ACTS LIKE THE HEAD OF A DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE. HE MAKES SURE WE ARE ALL IN LINE AND FOLLOW RULES, HE MELTS OUT PUNISHMENT ON ANY ERRING MEMBER.
HE IS LESSER TO THE TEMPLES CHAIRMAN WHI ACTS AS COMMITTEE HEAD OF ELDERS AND CHECKMATES THE AXE HEAD.
That's by the way, back to the initiation ground
We were drilled seriously for opening up after sever slaps and bamboo strokes on our backs that lasted for 5 mins, we were told SECRECY was very core in this movement.
As we knelt down, an axe man carried a bowl and a knife went round to cut our thumbs for our blood.
We were then ordered with our slightly bruised body to kneel down and place hands on our neighbours shoulder going round the fire with our kneels and eyes closed. We were not beaten unless we fell out of place this process alone lasted for 30 minutes. Imagine the pain I felt in my limbs moving on my knees for 30 minutes on hard ground.
I felt so much pain I began to shed so much tears. There was a particular guy that dropped out if the line and cried that he needed water, the real mending had not started props propa.
AXE CHAIRMAN: Butcher make u check dat ju, hu carry am com?!
AXE MAN: Oche I greet u oo na me ju name ****
AXE CHAIRMAN: checkmate ur ITJ.
He left and asked the guy, he cried he needed water. He was given water and asked to join the initiation ceremony back. But not with some heavy lashes.
The second stage initiation had passed. We were instructed to stand on our legs and we couldn't our knees where bruised. I couldn't walk properly after that day till after few weeks.
*THE WORST INITIATION DRILLING FOLLOWED AFTER THIS*

THIS WAS WHEN I EXPERIENCED THAT HUMANS COULD BE SO WICKED TO THEMSELVES.
We where ordered to face the ground as with our chest. They told us to fxck the ground; bamboos, sticks and 2by 2 where used on our backs.
We were marched on with boots and kicked on, the beatings became so much that cries had rented the air, every man to himself we I sustained an injury from that night as I have a scar on my left arm when a stick cut through my skin.
The beatings continued for about an hour, some Axemen where on drugs and all sorts, there was this axe man I mentioned earlier ju name 'GBU SHI' it was at His hands an ITJ gave up the ghosts. He was on drugs before the wee hours if the morning.
We were bring drilled to their satisfaction after one ITJ gave up the ghosts and another ITJ fainted. Then the process was brought to a halt. PRIOR TO THIS, AN AXEMAN INTRODUCED HIMSELF TO US AS THE CHIEF PRIEST OF THE TEMPLE.
CHIEF PRIEST: ' He told us that night': We are lucky to be among the chosen ones of KOROFO. He told us KOROFO was the gods of the ayes. After this night, we would become like every other member there that night. He told us if we die, the corpse would be buried in the ground. Whatever happens there that night dies there. He spoke to us about the movement and its goals and said so many things.
Back to the matter, after we were dealt with seriously.( I just have to rush this, I'm feeling sleepy)
A passage long about 100 m were formed and we were told to crawl on a single file, we were asked to reply SIR SIR SIR.
AXEMEN: JU JU JU !!!!
ITJS: SIR SIR SIR !!!
WE CONTINUED LIKE THIS TILL WE GOT TO THE LAST BUST STOP.
I WAS ALREADY TIRED, IT GOT TO MY TURN EVENTUALLY. I WAS IN THE FRONT OF THREE (TRINITY).
A MAN WITH A RED REGALIA - AXE HEAD
A MAN WITH A WHITE REGALIA - CHIEF PRIEST
A MSN WITH A BLACK REGALIA - CHAIRMAN
The chief priest stood at the right hand of the axe head, muttered some words and I was asked to repeat after the chief priest. I swore that night to live by the tenets of NBM, to uphold the constitution and always be for my brothers. I SWORE, THAT IF I BE AN AGENT OF MURDER, MAKE THAT KOKOMA SQUEEZE LIFE OUT FROM ME. I WAS GIVEN A SIP OF KOKOMA TO MY TONGUE, WHICH FELT HARSH.
THE AXE HEAD THEN PLACED THE METAL ON MY HEAD AND HAND SIMULTANEOUSLY SAYING ' BY THE POWER CONFERRED UPON HIM, HE A**** AXE HEAD HEREBY CONFIRM ME TO NBM AS A SOLID AXE MAN.
HE NAMED ME JULIUS NYERERE THAT NIGHT.
WE WERE TOLD TO ALWAYS KEEP OUR NAMES TO HEART. HE SPAT THE KOKOMA INTO MY EYES.
AFTER THAT, HE ORDERED I RISE UP I GREETED HIM THEN IT WENT ON TILL 34 AXEMEN (ITJS) WERE CONFIRMED THAT NIGHT.
THERE WAS A LOUD SHOUT OF JOY, AS THEY SCREEMED AYE AXXEMEN, WE ECHOED AYEEE..
IT WAS ONE OF MY NIGHT I can't FORGET IN MY LIFE.

We danced round, the fire after some songs then as it approached cock crow. We left the scenes as .

Please, I had to rush up, I am feeling sleepy.

TBC
PLEASE THIS IS A REAL ACCOUNT FROM ME AND NIT THIRD PARTY, CULTISM IS EVIL. I CAN NOT NARRATE EVERYTHING THAT WENT DOWN THAT NIGHT THEY WERE SO MANY.
FLEE CULTISM, PARENTS WARN YOUR CHILDREN.

I was asked to sew my white shirt and black trouser as that would be my garment for the ceremony. I bought 6 yards in total. Paid money for beret and few materials.
Prior to this days I was warned never to speak to anyone concerning this as It was such a golden opportunity. I never cared to tell anyone so as not to spoil my own grace.

******* ********** ********** ***************
(INITIATION COMMENCES)

'THE DAY FOR THE INITITIATION CAME'

THE ROAD TO THE INITITIATION GROUND
Two days before the evening I was called by my roommate (Kingsley) to stay away from school as this would facilitate my preparedness and avoid any mental stress and physical stress. I obliged, I followed him anywhere he went. He introduced me to some of his friends as everything seemed formal.
He usually spoke in his native tongue (Igbo) saying 'onye'a bu nwam'. Which translates to 'this person is my son'.
The d day arrived. It was a Friday (we sometimes hold inititiation ceremonies on Saturdays also). I was told to get prepared that we would be going for an all night party with some of the big boys so I got ready as usual, I ate and waited till it was afternoon. Kingsley came and we left out that evening to a local bushmeat bar around town. Where we met about four others who were there already of two who later got inititiated that night like I.
We sat down and ordered some foods and ate.
It got towards evening and some friends starting coming along and the whole place was a little bit rowdy the boasts of music coming from the shops and Igbo hi-life songs as the usual Friday night life.
Some guys came at our table and shook hands with us smiling. I noticed a particular guy who was my senior then in school kept on staring at me. That was the first time I set my my eyes on him since I came to uni. His look was kind of disapproval. I felt so uneasy and asked my friend that I wanted to be going home. He laughed at me and said that I have already started the journey there is no going back. I should just relax that we would soon be leaving for the party's venue as today be Friday say na flexing levels we dey. With this I relaxed a little bit. My friend gave me a close marking so as not to leave his side.
So the time came for us to leave for the inititiation ground as we were about to enter the old school bus which was hired, one older guy asked my friend
Older guy: 'NA D ITJ B DZ?
Kingsley: Na im
Older guy: No shaking, you dey always deliver
Kingsley: Me na confam
Older guy: clear road, nothing do u
(Note, the place that was rowdy suddenly became so empty, the axemen who were there had already started leaving for the initiation venue) We were few who entered the bus.

We drove out that night, seeing the school bus made me more relaxed. After a while the journey looked more tiring as we drove far down into Umuahia (Abia). No more street lights, police patrol, check points. We arrived at a police station we stopped. Then a certain guy(I later knew him as the CHIEF EYE ) came down from the bus front and warned us all that we had embarked on a journey of no return tht whosoever tries anything funny would never remember the day he cane to this school.
At that moment, I knew I had been played, I was filled with fear and was shaking visibly. We were about 14 ITJs in d bus that night. The other string men about 12 all sitting at the edge with fully loaded pistols.
My friend sat beside me and told me to calm down that it is a test he had passed.
The certain guy made a call and two police men came out, they exchanged pleasantries he handed them some money. They gave us pass. IMAGINE YOU IN THE MIDST OF STRANGERS ARMED AND NO WHERE TO RUN TO, THE POLICE FORCE TOOK MONEY FROM US TO GRANT US AN EASY INITIATION CEREMONY. THE POLICE FORCE SOLD US THAT NIGHT
There were silent cries in the bus that night.

It wasn't long before we finished settling the police men for easy movement, we got to a halt. We were asked to alight from the bus. I can guess the time was around past 11.
My friend had left my side as we came down and asked me to join the line. I protested then somebody pointed a matcher at me then I quickly joined the others we marched down that night inti the thick forest, the first time I saw a local double barrel loaded gun in the hands of people who are meant to be students. We were warned if anything happens or we try leaving the line we would be killed instantly.
They issued threats and threats, I remembered my parents and their warnings, how i was enjoying my sleep yesterday. I was in bed sleeping reading after reading for a test here I am heading towards a thick bush alone.
My parents are sleeping at the moment and practically doesn't know what is happening to me right now. I was in deep thought , till I got inside the forest. It was a long walk, through the bushes I had discovered other people numbering up to 70 in number already there.

He even went as far as buying me a book on current affairs and adviced I study it with a 2A note book he bought for me. I studied it for weeks. He advised that I move with him for days so as to get familiar with some of his people. He introduced me to few friends. We shook hands some where in my level some were in their finals.
He spike in igbo sometimes saying 'this is the person I'm bringing'. I would smile.
After few weeks I kept on asking him when are we going for the 'induction ceremony' (the name he told me: which was used instead of initiation).
I was adviced to get some cash then which I paid to him.
He took me to someone which I later knew was the Ihaza a 300 lvl student then I got the form from him. I filled it with my details and two passports. It had my name, d.o.b, matric nu, deot, faculty, level and other important school information and state of origins. The place for referee was reserved for my friend Kingsley to fill his name. He got the form and wrote his name quickly which he made me not to see what he wrote properly. It wasn't actually his name he wrote, he wrote his SN with his ju name. Which I later got to know from him.

All the while I stayed with Kingsley before I blended into the movt. I always knew him as a bad boy back then in school. I just felt it was normal big boys life the parties and the rest. Assuming I had thus opportunity now to know all these or social media was widely blown then I would have never engaged my self in this very dirty game in the first place.

I was sold the idea of Blackism and liberation of slave trade and some of other things as how they tend to change the perspective of racism. Especially how it had eaten deep into the society and school environment. He gave me instances why he never experiences such problems because the umbrella covered him. He also asked me if I was everly intimidated in the lodge area(Black axxxe enclave) I said no... It was because they believed in 'equality for all and social justice'. He further told me many professors, lecturers and pastors are former members that grant school students scholarship.
I became interested in thus new fate and religion that can help me stay safe from the hurdles in school. I was glad. I queried him a lot about why he never helped me since.

He sold many lies to me, lies upon lies until I finally gave in. The last incident that took me to a journey of no return was when I was robbed in a night class. I was fed up. I got hone and told him I WAS READY.

PARENTS PLEASE HELP MONITOR THE FRIENDS OF YOUR CHILDREN AND ADVICE THEM. THIS WAS MY EXPERIENCE. I MAY NOT BE A GOOD WRITER BUT PLEASE IT HAPPENED REAL.

GOOD EVENING GUYS!!!
My cult name was Julius Nyerere. As usual there is this prefix of 'Aye' before every name. This names are gotten from past African or pan Africa or anti racist leaders.

I was named after the former president of Tanzania who was said to be an anti colonialist. A former prime minister before he assumed his role as president in the 60s.
***************** ************* ******************

After my secondary school I went to Lagos to stay with an uncle of mine to learn trade. I stayed with him for a year before I was advised to take jamb examinations. I applied for a school back in my home town in the east. . . .
Fast forward to when I gained admission, I left Lagos and returned back to the east. My admission process was smooth tho and the registration went well. As a novice in school I always moved with my closest pal Kingsley(late) then. I was able to settle down in school, I stayed with him.
My first experience with cultist was during my matriculation day. That eve was kinda of a party going down held by our then SUG presido. There was this particular babe I was dancing with then she had a guy danced at her front. As j was high already on drinks, I stood at the back. I got a loud slap at my chest.
A short black guy with black cap shouted.. Common woske there!!! I was warned seriously that the girl belonged to a SM. I was angry and intimidated tho... I got surrounded and pushed out.
I got back home and related the issue to my old friend. He laughed it off.
On a second occasion I was harassed srusly in the school bus on my way out of school then. I sat in the middle of two cult guys (Baggers). I was asked my Level and department I told them. The first guy asked what I had in my bag for him.
It was kind of absurd I told him nothing, then they started dipping their hands in my pockets. Took away a lot of things I tried struggling with them in the presence of other students. I got the worst humiliation in my life. My shirt was torn and slippers taken away from me. They ordered the school bus driver to stop. The talker guy pushed me out and ordered I should get out.
He shouted gerrout!!!! Jonxing pig. I was wondering what i did that warranted all these hate. I cried bitterly as I went home. I lost my phone. I lost my wristwatch. At that moment I planned on going back to see my uncle.
Note that all this while I related to my then room mate (Kingsley) did not utter a word of provocation just told me to be careful.
Kingsley was already in his 300 lvl then in school.
I got so many encounters with different cultist in schools my things were seized and the rest. I noticed that no matter how rough my area was then in school, i never got intimidated. I usually see boys smoking and doing all sorts but I moved around freely.
Months passed as usual I was doing well in school till I was sold the idea of joining a movement on campus which oversees the welfare of students. That was in my first semester 200 lvl. Kingsley told me he was the movement Secretary, I asked him why he did not open up to me all this while, he told me that it was for a reason( he later opened up then after when I enter d thing propa propa say he bn no plan am 4 me but na men tell aa say I must 2 blend with am if I wan continue to live with am because as I don to stay there mk I no go join anoda frat com bgn dey Map dem 1 by 1).

GOOD EVENING GUYS!!!
I don't even know where to start from again. I have been a shadow of myself these past few months. Although I am working and doing okay.
I have no rest of mind.
Sometimes I just look back and wonder how useless I could have become. I just thank God. I have always been bothered on how to make restitution on my past life.
I have confessed though to my pastor and all that. I am seeking the right means to restitution right now in my life.

I want to give a brief but lengthy diary of what led me into cultism. As usual I would avoid dates, temple names and other sensitive info.
This is my true life story. I am not going to hide anything. The stories I had dropped earlier were somewhat shabby. But I would be going in accordance.

I would like to thank the OP on giving some of us this platform. I would also do some publishing with my church magazines which would be distributed to various libraries on the menace of cultism.
Forget thus happy part, jolly, cruise you all see nowadays. Especially this era of social media trying to paint cultism as cool as it is.
As a truth, as someone who was a former axe member and member of HIT squad in a T. I can tell you we had good and bad days. There is nothing cool about it. I also try to avoid if I had held any post b4 as a fmr axe man.
I have gained confidence now. I was a fmr Butcher, and a fmr axe coordinator (after my graduation) in a forum.
I will take my time to spill the milk but I would still becareful as usual. You guys are familiar with my other ordeals I stated here.

My cult name was Julius Nyerere. As usual there is this prefix of 'Aye' before every name. This names are gotten from past African or pan Africa or anti racist leaders.

Let me get something clear. Is Eiye different from Aye? How come they sound similar? Thought they're the same

Eiye means Bird
Aye means African Youth Empowerment. It is not 'Aiye'....

There us usual misconception among illiterates and misguided folks about the duo.. They are different with the same modus operandi to kill and destroy.

Eiye regalia is mostly blue, yellow, red (blue dominantly)
Aye regalia is Black, White, Yellow. Be very careful when you come across them.

A lord was dropped dead at IKENGA HT yesterday by Baggas. Ayes are planning a reprisal attack over the non chalant attitude of their axehead.
If you guys like ur life get out of Owerri be u baga or Aye. Any baga seen is going down, Ayes are saying no more peace talk as they have been on peace talk since..
After peace talks were given, Ayes brought in externals that were rolling and this feared some members of Aye confraternity they called on their kpoai but he refused to give an order. They were wondering why bagas bn dey roll afta peace talk, one external bn light up one baga. Left immediately without confirming him based on say Ikenga HT mmbers wey bn indigines run leave d externals. So a reprisal happened yesterday which led to the fall of one Ju name chase a Lord at Ikenga HT.

This is the best I can do to warn you to flee cultism, so many had gone. Na person wey dey alive na im dem dey preach 4. Avoid yellow, black, red this period. Becareful in your movements especially in imsu, south Africa, nekede, back gate...

Please repent!!!!
Good morning.

CharleyGold has warned.
