Hyperchi:She did not appear before the committee that was about to investigate her... Where do you live? Have you not been following the story? |
Yes |
Yes |
budaatum:There will be no monopoly in the South. Everyone must compete. |
I'm back. No unions in the South |
Yes |
makavalley:Yes it is, at the age of 3 or 4 a mother sees the way a child is playing and realizes that the child is lonely and maybe needs someone to play with. She decided not to give him or her a sibling because of her selfish desires or maybe to settle scores with her spouse. This is not right. Give your child a sibling so he or she doesn't get lonely in the future. That child will not be her friend forever. |
Xcelinteriors:I'm not deleting shxxxt. Why would a woman have one child? Research shows that having one child, that child will never make it in life because there's no one to compete with. That child will be pampered till he grows up. One child is a menace to the igbo society. Now that the child is dead her lineage is gone. Meanwhile if she had more at least she will have something to comfort her. |
FuckTheMod:And I know you are a man saying this. Having children is just natural. Don't let women deceive you that having children is not an easy task. It's just fulfilment of being a woman. A simple task that they came to earth to do. |
Why are Igbo women having one child? Simple question. Why will you not want a brother or a sister to play with him? This is wickedness on the mother side because it's not like she is barren. |
If Ekaette’s evidence is just her denial and emotional distress claims, and Natasha produces nothing tangible, it’s a toss-up—courts might lean toward Ekaette due to Natasha’s burden to justify her public statements. But if Natasha has even minimal proof (e.g., a consistent timeline or a witness), Ekaette’s case could collapse. Without seeing court filings or evidence, it’s 50-50 legally, but politically, both sides are already entrenched |

Alex80s:Remember that Akpabio's wife defamation lawsuit is still on and if she can't prove that she was sexually harassed because there's no witnesses, no documentation or recording she may be ordered to pay the sum of 250 billion or less plus an apology on two national newspapers. And she Akpabio's wife could pursue a criminal case for false accusations under Nigeria’s Criminal Code (e.g., Section 391, defamation, or Section 125A, spreading false information). |
Thelannister:A case she can't prove? What evidence is she bringing up? She has no witnesses. She said on TV she didn't tell her husband. Akpabio 's witness said they (she and her husband ) were sitting in the parlour when akpabio was showing them round the house. |
adekolaelect:Yes because he needs money rather than tell his representative that it's illegal. He rather do it and get the money but they need to be punished so it doesn't happen again |
FP worthy. |
I came to check if truly the Aboki was yellow. I was disappointed ☹️ |
If she loves her constituents. & She knows and believes that she is working for them. Then she should write a an apology To the Senate So that she can continue in the Senate, she can not keep on putting the people of kogi state in a state of non-representation. For the sake of her constituents. Let her do the right thing. It is not her mandate, it is the mandate of the people that she represents..... Or the people of kogi needs to recall her and put someone else in her position because she has refused to represent them properly.. By not following house rules, talking unruly to the Senate president, not standing up for the Senate president (breaking house rules). Submitting a petition (breaking house rules again). Accusing the senator on TV with no evidence. And it's been weeks now she hasn't come up with the evidence of the Sexual Harassment. Lastly, she also has a court case by the senate president 's wife that she is definitely going to spend money on because she can't win. If you are reading this Natasha Akpoti-Uduagan. You lost, apologize and move on. It's not worth the wait. There was a senator with Arthur Nzeribe, a very rich man who refused to apologize to the Senate and was suspended for two years. This is the precedent that the Senate is following. You are not powerful than the Senate. If you don not apologize before six months, your suspension will continue. Forget about your advisers and do the needful so that you will continue in the Senate because once they don't pay you for a sitting and your cream finishes.... I don't want to look at you when your cream finishes. I love you Natasha. I have supported you in this platform several times, I love when you pass me and I say good morning Ma, I love the smell of your perfume too. But please Ma, do the needful so that we can move on. the senate is a tool for the people of Kogi, not for Natasha to fight her personal battles.

seunmsg:We know but it's the judge not supposed to be punished for this? So that it doesn't repeat itself again? |
Mko123:Children's faces are not usually shown. The children are always covered. You could be sued for it. And also children should be protected. |
Iretii0511:You don talk finish. Oya bring evidence and prove that senator Akpabio sexually Harassed her. |
In a ruling delivered on the 4th of March, 2025, the court, inter alia, granted “an interim order restraining the Senate Committee on Ethics, Privileges, and Code of Conduct from proceeding with any investigation against Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan concerning the alleged misconduct arising from the events that occurred during the Senate plenary on 20th February, 2025.”. What happens to the judge? |
OriOko88:You are the one that is not sensible here. So you expect the Senate to be discussing about sexual harassment. Out of all the things that are happening in this country? Secondly why didn't she go to court? Lastly why didn't she appear before the committee that was setup to investigate the petition that she raised. She also signed the petition herself breaking Senate rules again. she was just digging herself into a pit. |
Is Nairaland among the social media handles?.. If not it don be...o |
PARADIZEPRIEST:Explain the bolded. Because I don't see what you're seeing. |
Shut up chatgpt. Shut up Chatgpt Shut up chatgpt |
NairalandVDM:Bro even men go support her if she behaved well. Imagine she has a petition and no one is willing to help her sign it. |
Bro Natasha is not going to have sex with you. |
nkpommpko:😂😂😂😂😂 This is the wise words of the day. That petition na rubbish. |
princeade86:The court (Judiciary) can't tell the Senate (Legislature ) what to do. That will be a judiciary overreach. Checks and balances. Secondly she missed the committee that was supposed to investigate her hearing. She didn't show up. So how does one miss something like that....? So where does the fair hearing come in? Lastly no other senator was willing to sign her petition, making her sign it herself meaning no one wants to have anything to do with her. Do you know why there's a sitting arrangement? Because some people switched parties so there need to be rearranged. It happens everywhere. |
Gadafii:Bro fvck the courts man, the courts (Judiciary ) can't tell the legislature what to do.. that will be an overreach. Come back to reality. She lost you break a standing rule order instead of you to apologize to your fellow Senate colleagues for misconduct, you went on national tv to lay a sexual harassment claim which has no evidence to back it up. |
