Imagine telling student that the card had finished, when the exam is the next day

you have to pay N200 to secure a bank teller that you will used to buy your post utme form
on news paper it was posted that the post utme form is N500 now the gist is bank charge is 1500
only just two branch of bank Eco and Unity in Auchi selling it nation wide, what a mess, not even a branch in Edo state, let alone neighboring state like Delta

this guy just scam someone and he gave the person my number to call, so i did a search online about the number and i found this post. he demanded 5000 from the person a regard to fupre post ume, clamming that the form is late even when the form is not yet out.

JAMB to release 2011 UTME results today

BARRING any unforeseen circumstance, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) might release the results of the 2011 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted last Saturday today.

A total of 1,493, 603 registered for the 2011 UTME, which took place simultaneously in 331 examination towns in Nigeria and in six foreign centres namely: Accra in Ghana, Buea in Republic of Cameroun, Cotonu in Republic of Benin, London in United Kingdom, Jeddah in Saudi Arabia and Johannesburg.

In 2009, the University Matriculation Examination was released after days, while the 2010 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination was released in six (6) days.

But the Nigerian Tribune gathered that the board had taken time this time to sort out the results properly in order to minimise the high incidence of withheld results. About 82,000 results were withheld in the last UTME as a result improper shedding and wrong filling of instructions by candidates to multiple cheating in examination halls in some centres.

NECO introduces data capturing machine for candidates in exam

The National Examinations Council (NECO) has introduced the biometric data capturing machine into its examinations to curb malpractices among students and invigilators in all its examinations.

The Biometric Data Machine, which it said was a pilot project in the ongoing May/June 2011 NECO examination would be done for 60,000 candidates in 300 secondary schools spread across the country.

Speaking on Thursday, in Osogbo, while demonstrating how the machine works for a candidate at Osogbo Grammar School where students were writing papers in Mathematics, Mr Tayo Odukoya, the head of Information Technology at NECO office, said that the biometric data capturing machine was introduced by the examination body to curb examination malpractices among candidates that were participating in NECO examination.

Besides, Mr Odukoya said that machine would also monitor attendance of students at examination halls and curb the excesses of the supervisor of the examination at each centre.

The IT boss said that the machine would enable the examination body to know students that were admitted into the examination hall after 30 minutes that the papers had commenced which he said was against the rule of NECO.
