I've been writing technical stuffs about photography for a quite a while now, even before I became serious with photography. Google? Nahhh!!!!

.
I did justice to all your fundamental assertions: IQ, DOF, low-light and I'm glad you think I'm smart. Awwnmm.

.

Point is, many flagship phones from last two years would rival the D60 big time. Good luck finding a buyer for your museum worthy piece of tech.

IAmSkinny:
If you have taught photography for ten years, then you should know that the D60 (released around 2006/07) is an outdated piece of junk!
.
Firstly, the D60 uses an outdated CCD sensor that is notorious for its poor low-light capabilities. The D60 beyond ISO 800 is a noisy piece of junk. Most flagship mobile phones made as from 2020 coupled with AI would rival the D60's IQ even in low light conditions.
.

Ohh, you didn't know phones shoot RAW? They have left you behind sir.
And yes! Most phones can trigger off camera speedlight and strobes perfectly too.
.
.
Your agreement should have been that the D60 features a larger sensor (APS-C) area which is almost ten times the size of what we have in mobile phones today. In photography, a larger sensor size means better image quality. Reason why a full frame sensor would in all logic outperform an smaller APS-C sensor. But the problem is that with technological improvements, such gaps are beginning to be narrowed down greatly. For example, the sensors on say the Fuji XT-5 or Sony a6400 are so good(IQ), fast, improved that they'll rival full frame options from like 12-15 years ago.
.
Then we have Medium Format sensors (even larger than full frame sensor) from Hasselblad, Fuji, PhaseOne etc. These ones are the unrivaled kings of image quality.
.
It's the same argument and logic I'm using for some badda$$ phone vs the D60. Shallow DOF can actually be achieved on modern flagship phone in one click too. AI no go kill person ooo.
.
.
While skills is one of the most important part of photography, I wouldn't be caught with a 16years old 10mp DSRL camera with just 3 points AF and a lousy red prone color science.

I'm not here to spoil your market just here to input my thoughts armed with real facts.
