I read your open letter to the admin, you have to understand one thing, we do mix topics, as in we feature topics from various sections, but some sections are featured more on fp due to popular demand, people would easily click on topics from politics, celebrities, romance, than from some other sections, that doesnt mean we will not or we dont feature topics from those other sections that people hardly care about.. We still try to balance.. now check this thread out, https://www.nairaland.com/2837950/41-real-facts-know-life, it is your thread which is on fp now, at night, compare the number of views and comments with threads on fp from celebrities and politics, or romance, you will understand what i'm talking about.. People criticize celebrity topics or politics, but they will be the first to open such threads when you post something like ''See the new car olamide acquired after the headies'', but post something like '' how to be a responsible parent, son or daughter'', few peolpe will open that...

We can't just move any topic from job vacancies to home page, before such topics are moved, they have to be real and worth it... I do check the section, but hardly get any good vacancy threads, if you come across any good one, genuine, you can always notify the moderators and it would be featured... We do feature good and genuine ones on home page when we see any..

Lalasticlala, there are worthy openings in that section that I think are worthy of home page.


Once a there is a vacancy with up to 3 positions from a reputable firm, I think it should hit front Page.

It mustn't be MASSIVE RECRUITMENT for it to be considered as worthy.

Nairaland is now going to the dogs, the owner has the audience and now he is running a celebrity forum.

It is not only in job section, so many helpful posts are overlooked but once it is about celebrity or by certain users it makes Frontpage.

The supermod is not helping matters, I keep mentioning him for great post but they don't look at them.
