BP crusher
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Nigerian Army SSC And DSSC 2016/2017 Forum by Charrliie: 7:45am On Jan 05, 2023
Yes, that's true. Some of the people that had the BP issue was as a result of fear and the stress of the screening activities.
But please, what is the garlic for?
AirmanB:
Nothing scares people in the second phase as BP testing (this fear even leads to the BP spiking. After the short listed candidates must have been disqualified from the interview at the medical interview phase on ground of high BP mostly as a result of fear. They would rush down to nearest pharmacy to check if they really do have this BP problem, only to discover that their BP is normal. It means the one they checked during the interview was triggered as a result of fear).

Manage your anxiety, drink enough water, do exercise and carry your garlic

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Nigerian Army SSC And DSSC 2016/2017 Forum by Charrliie: 6:07pm On Nov 02, 2022
This afternoon, I decided to check the air force portal just to see if anything has come up. Normally when registration isn't ongoing, there will be a message stating that registration is not ongoing. Today, to my surprise, when i clicked on the 'start application' option under dssc, there was actually an online form for registration. I created an account to enable me to register but i have not proceeded to register because when i clicked on 'start application', the disclaimer that popped up was giving instructions for airman/airwoman registration, and the registration dates on the disclaimer were 11/4/22 to 22/5/22. This is confusing because before now when i check, there's no disclaimer, just the message stating that there is no ongoing application. And then again why is the airman disclaimer under the dssc option? A backdated disclaimer for that matter. Could this be a glitch? Or does this mean they are trying to open up the portal for registration? Because to the best of my knowledge, there has been no official announcement for any recent air force registration.
I just thought to share this here in case anybody knows whats going on.

Well base on what I heard, they wanna change it. I guess there won't be ssc anymore but not sure sha
Really? The last time i heard this rumour was in 2018. But there was a lot of controversy on the subject because more people were saying it's impossible for ssc to be scrapped. I pray they don't cancel ssc sha.

Isn't it Army SSC training that's always 9 months while Army DSSC training 6 months?

One of the 14 withdrawn cadets from training is from my state, my very self being the 1st reserve from my state is supposed to be called up to report for training, but I'm yet to be called as I type!

May God punish them if what they want to do is sale my slot to the highest bidder, it shall not be well with them, what an injustice.
Personally, I doubt any reserve will be called to report because apart from the fact that DSSC 26 have gone far with their training, I heard from a liable source that reserves per state are called up to report when a candidate from their state failed to report for training from the on set.
But even if the info is inaccurate, it will be difficult for any reserve called by this time to pick up effectively with the training. Well, keep hope alive. Nothing is impossible.

BuddhaGautama:
So what's the essence of the reserves if they won't be called up to replace the withdrawn cadets?
And yet we want Nigeria to grow with this sort of injustice being done?
I once heard that the reserve list carries the names of candidates that will be called to report for training if people from their respective states fail to report from the get go. I don't know how true it is though.

Last DSSC 26 reserves get prepared, you may be called anytime soon...15 cadets were withdrawn recently for document(14) and health issues(1 DSSC 30 NAF)...80% from south west catchment alone...so reserves from this area shud keep there lines on...would av posted the document but don't want to post the withdrawn cadets names online due to the sensitive nature.
Goodluck to u guys!! cool
Thank you very much for the update sir. Please Sir, do you have any info on SSC 48? Will there be any hope this year?

Please does anyone know if general elections can hinder the army from releasing SSC and DSSC forms next year? Like has any past general elections stopped the SSC and DSSC process in the past?

With the look of things, i don't think ssc recruitment will be commencing this year. Fingers crossed though
Please they should not do ooh. I've been waiting for SSC forms since 2021, because I was not successful with my SSC 47 application. Let's all be hopeful. Anything can still happen between now and December.
