Fame has a way of reshaping lives, turning ordinary individuals into global icons. But for some celebrities, success also brings an unfortunate consequence—forgetting the people who stood by them before the glitz and glamour. One such story is that of Asake who seemingly left behind a childhood friend who had been there through thick and thin. Before the flashing cameras and red carpets, Asake was just an ordinary kid growing up in Lagos island. Among the few constants in his life was Silent Wizzy, someone who shared in his dreams, struggles, and victories long before the world even knew his name. They played together in the streets, encouraged each other through tough times, and dreamed of making it big one day. As Asake pursued his passion in music, his talent became undeniable. His big break came when he signed a record deal with Olamide. Asake was popularly known as Medo who later change his name to Asake For Silent Wizzy, watching his best friend rise to fame without looking back was heartbreaking. He never expected financial support or public recognition—only the simple act of remembering where they came from. The pain wasn’t in losing access to a celebrity but in losing a brother, a friend who once promised they’d always be there for each other. According to Silent Wizzy, Asake slept with his girlfriend back then, but the love he had for Asake made him to forgive and let go Perhaps one day, Asake will reach out, hoping to mend what was broken. But sometimes, the hardest lesson of fame is realizing that some things, once lost, can never truly be restored. Watch the full Interview session with Silent Wizzy https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSMToCJyQ/

A Nigeria painter (Okeoghene A. Ariama) who uses his art work as activists mocks President Tinubu for his bad leadership. He stated: Every four years, people queue up to cast their votes because its their civil right. They want a better life for themselves and as well others. But at the end of the day, they either get what they want or given what they don't. We often see the campaigns and manifesto being read and lots of drama more than nollywood when it's campaign season, yet they claim not to be actors. People are voted into office because they represent the citizens. But when they get to the juicy position, I doubt if they know or remember those who voted for them. It was in no time they started assigning position to those who they claim; " NA MY PERSON." Bills are being passed regularly, and none of them benefits the common man because the common man is meant to be hungry and look up to God to come help out. The abilities of citizens are being limited daily. Whatever you decide to do isn't favourable because you either don't have enough capital or you don't have the right connection ; "NA WHO YOU KNOW?." Religion and tribalism have entered into the hearts and head of citizens to point whereby they forget their enemies and fight each other. All of these are because of the bad system in governance. Pray to God for help. The leaders are asking citizens to pray to God for help so that we can have a better economy. Whose responsibility is that to handle? Telling citizens to pray about a situation that you put them in tells of how irresponsible you are being in such a position. We all into one religion or the other but yet so evil and wicked to our neighbours. How do you encourage people to believe in something that has failed on arrival? How do you sit in your parliament and tell citizens to pray to God for the growth and development of the country? Did you get into the office by prayers? Did you pray your way into having lots of convoys and salaries that are way above the civil servants? We are leading in prayers and heading backwards in development and growth
