True topic, I happens to be a pastors kid, the thing is that for being a pastors kid, there is so much weight to it sometimes the weight are even more than that of a pastor.
One thing people do forget is that this kids are normal human being and that being a pastors kid doesn't mean that they are holy from womb. And also just because of being a pastor's kid doesn't mean he/she will become a pastor or even a worker.
Things that affect pastors kid include but not limited to;
(1) Pressure
(2) Too much expectation by people
(3) Neglect
(4) Not preaching to them: everyone is a sinner until saved so preach to those pastors kid, many don't cherish the fathers sermon
(5) Do not judge them just because they are pastors kid
(6) We do like to play games too
(7) Don't respect them than normal, beat them when necessary, and treat them like others

For resources, u can use any text editor but for newbie I recommend one of bracket, adobe dreamweaver, later u will need wamp server

Books: I recommend html and css by jon dockett and also javascript and jquery by jon duckett, you will love those books, and also u can decide to real sam teach urself in 24 hours before reading the above to give an insight into what you will be learning. Also I have a grabbed copy of w3schools.com which is so much useful for me

Since you said you are a newbie, I will share with you my own experience.
Although already learning java programming which I learn reading an ebook, I decided that I need something that the world will access fast, I dive into web development, I started out also reading books from HTML-> CSS -> Javascript -> JQuery -> PHP -> SQL/MySQL. Now I'm already good in it but not yet the best, I come across somethings that I don't understand, which I google and I get answers, so all I do is read books, but if you have the money for a trainer, go for it, or if you can go into online video, youtube or codeacademy.com is surely ur friend. Upon all don't be discourage even when ur good design code didn't work. Just believe that u will know it and u will

U can, but it depends on ur department, I did use todays for mine and its because the person that was suppose to sign at the department wasn't around

What i know is that someone who paid through online hasn't been given matric number, but immediately i paid my fees at wema bank, even before leaving the bank, i got a text notifying me of my matric number with the advice that from now upwards i should be using my matric number for any further transaction with the school... even though i know it will be rectified, the person is so worried about the situation.. For now, i 'd advice you to go manual with payment instead of digital....

I paid through gt master card, I got a confirmation test but my matric number is issued to me after I register for course. And also I was charged an addition of #500 which is better for me instead of traveling down to lagos

you can use your phone browser but the ones that supported flash not opera min, not UC browser but you can use mozilla for android and the other opera that looks like mozilla or use your default mobile browser. i actually use my blackberry phone to pay for my sisters fess on remita.net. so you can use your phone just make sure there is internet connect and be patient cos after you authenticate ur pament through webpay, it will want to redirect you and this will show blank web page so be patient too

The response was that funaab is a third generation university and your responder went on to list the first and second generation universities to show that funaab could only have copied from them and not the other way round.

You swerved from his response and zoned in on OAU why? If its the only place you visited, does that mean that funaab isn't third generation and hence, might have copied from the other listed schools?

If you had tried to explain why any other university copied from funaab, that would have been an appropriate reply.

Also you've been to OAU and you say because of the disorderliness, criminals MAY be hiding there. What is the correlation of that with the beauty of the pic posted? On the contrary, FUNAAB is a third generation university in Nigeria. Apparently learning from The First Generation Universities like OAU, Ui, UNILAG, UNN and ABU.

Second Generation Universities are Uni Ilorin, Uni Ben, etc schools of 1975.

I laugh in latin, when I was in OAU about two years ago, th place look so dirty and unkept except for the colleges and admin block but the hostel, and all other areas is crap. I told my brother then that this is no more a school cos there is no sense of orderliness and I'm 100% sure a criminal can hide in that school without anybody noticing.

UI is good and beautifull but I've not been to the rest so that's ur answer OAU is living on past glory

It's an application created by a computer science student to allocate you a bed space on the schools official hostel website before others (first come first serve basis)

if its an application, then I don't agree with it cos developers always try to spot robot activities and also there might be loss of info or inappropriate filling of forms. I'm not saying it doesn't work but I just don't trust it for me.

School don give transcript by hand but there are ways you could get them e.g. By asking the school to post it to your office using your office address and don't include ur name. Tell them that its needed for verification in your company but then the school you are applying for won't collect an unsealed copy from you
