I greet the house, so I'm a bolt driver been driving for a while now but like this I'm tired of the app and the low fares dey charge. I will like any indriver here to explain somethings to me cos I'm thinking of switching.
1. How much profit do you make and how many hours driving time
2. Are there riders online ready to order for rides at any time of the day? If not, what time is best
3. Since the fuel hike has indrivers been able to increase their fares as well?
3. How often does indrive reward drivers with campaign and how much do they pay drivers for car branding

Thank you
It's not bolt. It's you. Wrong positioning, wrong practices, wrong decisions.

I can help you positively. You need a mentality revamp and I will give it to you for free.

Send me a mail giveranonymous77@gmail. com and I'll add you to the 138 member strong telegram group, while I help you out privately. If your earnings don't improve, I'll give you 20k.

This is my current week... 333,800 naira net so far, excluding Saturday and Sunday.

I no sabi cap. You'll strictly do what I say

Could you please provide further details regarding the distance between Sandfill, where my job is located, and OPIC Estate, where I am considering finding a house? I'm curious to know if the distance is considerable and may pose challenges for commuting, or if it's within a manageable range.

Cheerful, you are right on the bolded.. I was surprised when I got a mail from Bella on Tuesday that my account has been unblocked. I'm like Bolt is feeling the heat.

Uber too has improved .. I'm always wondering, why Uber held unto destinations all these years.

The destination thing alone makes Uber the best app already for drivers. Nobody would have given indrive a thought if these apps were offering what they are right now. Uber doesn't even care about cancellations anymore. My earnings dramatically increased because of those new features

Me wey dash Cheerfulgiver d money.
I never had d chance to do complete one week on that challenge. Indrive cannot match Bolt; not yesterday, not today, maybe tomorrow o. Himself know.
As for MrJayDee; one day monkey go go market, e no go come back
My man, that was 2 years ago. There was nothing bolt could do about being better than indrive. Nothing. Remember I was driving on bolt before I switched to indrive. It's not like I didn't know what I was saying. If you remember, we ran that challenge twice. You lost twice.

Also remember trips on indrive were back to back. Now it's back to wait for over 20 mins, which takes a huge chunk of time. This is caused by bolt blocking drivers which forced drivers to be on indrive which in turn choked indrive.

Now that bolt has unblocked drivers, let's see what happens. You no sabi analyze well.

Chai !!! pearl you are talking to a whole General like this grin.

Oya come and explain this one

Indrive is no longer what it used to be. Great prices, but the delay in getting trips has increased because all manner of dead cars are accepted by indrive and passengers now waste more time to come out than they used to. If that's all you made driving last month, it's not nice

It's good your bolt account is opened. Uber and bolt have improved on the things that made me prefer indrive over them.

Indrive is now my 3rd choice.

This is 202k in 4 days.

Compare to 470k in 4 weeks

At this rate I'll net 1.2m this month

Just doing instead of being idle.
I have been buying fuel 10 k and if I do 4-5 trips it will enter reserve.
Reset trip A and I found that it only does 69 miles on 10 k fuel before it enter reserved.
From someone who used to drive a similar model, 10k fuel on your car should do 100miles or 160km

You may want to check your fuel system or change fueling stations

Thanks a bunch
Obviously Bolt is way preferable, what benefit are people using Indrive for then

Does that mean I can run Bolt and Uber together ?
You didn’t talk about Uber tho
And meanwhile, how about the financial sides, profit and all
Right now, March 25 2024, bolt is better.

Update .. ONE WAY ALERT on AKIOGUN ROAD

Skipped my mind for a while now.

Akiogun Road ( the road that lines the Maroko police station) is no longer a two way drive.

Please,if you are coming from Bosun Adekoya to link Akiogun Road, you must take your right and go and make a U turn in front of Banex plaza to turn unto the other side of Akiogun Road to continue your journey. Also if you enter from lekki express, you can't reverse on the same road,
But make a U turn @ Enyo filling station to switch to the other lane.

Please be guided.
I guess you meant Rainoil?

Omoapena,

You need to be calm inorder not to learn the hard way... court judgement might not favour you and it might...Try resolve this issue amicably..Give him his number plate then collect your custom paper and change of ownership...

Apologize to him then move on with your life...If they withdraw the car pending the court judgement it might hurt you financially oooo..

Abo Oro lanso fun omoluabi ooo!!!
The guy doesn't understand what he's asking for I swear.

Knowing Nigeria courts and judges.... Maybe he get leg for court sha. Never can tell.

I have the intention to take it to Edo and that car haven't traveled that highway before and I need to ensure the car is good for such movement... Reason why I requested for the custom, it isn't that I want to change the license plate immediately, I only need it because of custom officers on highway travel road...

I never insulted him, I only said he's unreliable which is not an insult abi is he not unreliable?

What pained me was despite my weekly follow up with the agreement, he could have told me that it won't be possible and immediately, I will sort out other options, the agreement was the car would be picked up by 30th of January and I have believed nothing is going to affect that only for him to say on 29th that it won't be possible anymore...

The shock and the unreliability just weak me, since that Monday, I've been restless then I asked for my custom papers and he's asking for license plate immediately, why is he asking for it immediately, does he want to use it? That's where the issues began, why ask for it immediately, is it useful to you and also, I've been using it since so why is that an issue for him now?....

I repeat again, I never insulted him, being unreliable isn't an insult, it's a fact I just made him know...
His car plate number is his property. You can only beg him to use it for a while. It's not your right. Once he hands you the change of ownership and custom paper, you hand him his plates. No sentiments. At that point you don't ask what he wants the plates for. He can register another car with the same plates. Are you not aware?

It's only based on goodwill he can leave the plates for you. You've escalated the matter. Yes you insulted him here on nairaland as well on January 30th. I have quoted it and there's evidence.

What he chooses to do is up to him.

30th of January

Bro, are you sure? I promise you that you didn't fully understand the agreement you signed. I only saw part of the agreement and I personally will NEVER sign that thing.

Are you sure you understand what you're asking for? Remember, nobody on this thread will be with you in court.

And where did you see me say anything about that?
Or did you see anything like force or a must do something, I only stated why didn't he let me know earlier and I told him to forget...

Where is the insult in saying he's unreliable when i relied in his words only for him to change it....

Anyway, he's free to do anything, I'm not moved, what I know is whatever him and his lawyer wants to do, they should take it to court and let court serve me....

I have paid for the said car fully, I have weekly payment records on my bank statement and when I receive any letter from court, I will honor it...

You have my address...

Seems you're not understanding, did I force him?

If you checked the first open messaged to him, I said he blocked me after asking for the custom paper and telling him to let me use the license plate till it expires since I paid for the renewal...

Where did I ask him he must give me his other car by force, he went ahead to block me when I only said I will hand over the license when it expires, he could have said he won't give me the custom papers until the license expired and I return it then I will let him know it's not possible to do change of name without custom papers ....

It's not hard, he's insisting to get the plate immediately while I ask him for custom papers so I can take the car anywhere without having issues with para military
I understand. But you also leave out the fact that the decision wasn't his to make events and he told you so.

The issue of custom paper is a small issue. After all, you've been using the car to make money without the custom paper. How much patience did you need to exercise? The car deal failed. That's the crux of your anger. Your post the other day now makes sense.

He doesn't deserve the insults.

I have evidence of our chats where you agreed I should use it till it expires, you're only referring back to it coz I demanded for the custom papers of the car, why are you like this?

I shouldn't ask for the papers even if I'm using your license plate?

I totally have no issues with you not dropping your car, i only said you should have told me that before that die minute so I can sort for other options.....

Imagine doing weekly follow up for something only for you to come at very die minute to say another thing, I didn't even take offense, I only demanded for my car custom papers...
Bro.

The more you post, the more I can't fault this guy. It's obvious you're not married. Wives are something else.

He told you "left to him he'll give you all his cars".

There was no need for you to do all this. You over reacted and I can see why. I just hope you can see it too.

You invited the public to mediate. So whatever the public says you don't like, you may have to suck it up.

I'm not blaming you because I understand, but you fuckedup. You miscalculated. You signed an agreement which you're bound to. You came to the public without full disclosure hoping on emotional sentiment like pity, to win the day.

After carefully reviewing the available evidence to me and also while I acknowledge I'm not an authority on any matter, you asked the public to "come and see".

You owe this guy a private and a public apology. Find how to get on his good side and leverage on whatever goodwill left. It's obvious you didn't go through the contents of that agreement properly else you would have been more careful with utterances. Like I said earlier you don't destroy ladders because you think you have arrived. This isn't even a police case unless you have money to waste simply because you SIGNED an agreement.

He may have let a lot of things slide intially but you've actually insulted him and he may decide to teach you a lesson. Technically, the car is still his and technically, you are still UNDER CONTRACT and you are still bound by the AGREEMENT you signed.

You breached the agreement BEFORE you completed payment and there is ample evidence to prove that. On basis of that evidence and on basis of the agreement signed, you will lose. All he has to really do is pay you back every penny you paid from August till you completed payment and hold you for breaching the contract in August.

Nairaland cannot help you. That's just the truth. Find a way to settle with Djdamian in private, and issue a public apology.

Dear all,

Omoapena said I am a trouble maker,a problematic person and a stalker.

Despite defaulting in our Hire Purchase Agreement in some areas in which I overlooked cos i am a very understanding person. Maybe it's time I show him a little bit of trouble.

Our agreement states and I quote "not sell, assign, pledge, mortgage, underlet ,lend or part with the possession of the said vehicle and not allow the said vehicle to be used by anybody else or kept or detained or run for the use of any other person"

He has publicly admitted the vehicle was with the Indians since last year August without my knowledge.

My lawyer will officially write to him on breach of contract
I hate to admit, but this aspect is true under the LAW
Business / Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by CheerfulGiver: 10:00pm On Feb 05
Well, it's there in black and white. Purchaser agreed to renew the vehicle papers.

I think there are aspects of the agreement the purchaser did not properly review.

That agreement is a carefully worded TRAP
Business / Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by CheerfulGiver: 9:38pm On Feb 05
Omoapena:

I paid for the renewal of this plate, I asked him to renew it since it carries his name but he refused and said he has nothing to do about that and he has given the car to me and I have to do the renewal...

So, I did it and moreover, we talked about this thing and I told him he should let me have value for my money and I will give it to him when it expires....

I have nothing to do with the license, just wanna have value for the renewal I paid for...
If this is true, is he implying he gave you the car with the plates? If he actually said so then, he has no rights to the plates unless he pays for the renewal, or unless it was clearly stated that the purchaser does the renewal.

Value for your money in this case is either to use the plates until it expires or contract expires or You get refunded for renewal. You can't get a refund and still hold the plates.

If by his response he implies that the hp deal included the plates, he therefore should not ask for the plates back, but should hasten to provide change of ownership and custom papers.

You both are trying to outsmart one another.

Was told I can't change the license plate number without custom papers....

I will need the custom paper and he will give me few weeks for the new license to come out...
This is why I said you don't destroy ladders.

He technically doesn't have to give you few weeks if he pays for the plates, and gives you the custom papers. At that point, you no longer have rights over the plates UNDER THE LAW and TERMs of your AGREEMENT.

He may only choose to give you few weeks, if he so pleases. It's not your right. But since you chose to dive in headfirst, well....
