BlueBeard:First of all, if your just RN holder, u can't work as an RN in Canada, because when they evaluate your credentials, d gap would be much, but if u are head bent that u want to work an a Canadian RN, u would have to do some course of about one year or one year and a half( check up Omni college), depending on your ielts score. It's expensive too.but u can opt to work as a LPN(licensed practical nurse, which is a lower than the RN salaries) BscN people, u are good to go, just that they would ask for several paperwork, Dem many die aswear, and d institution would dhl it to them, not you. Later u would write their own exam, then if u pass u would get employed (pls I skipped some steps inbtw) no osce, just ielts and CRNE or CPNE, and, Canada here u come Whole process is about 2years max Another route is thru d express entry(either foreign skilled worker or provincial nominees program of which your CRS score must be high of which the fact that u are a nurse has made u already half way eligible aka na Dem dey rush us .... its achievable either for RN and BscN, remember Rn can't work as Rn there, u work as lpn there(until u upgrade yaa academics) . That one is another maze of its own. Bottom line is" it is achievable" FOR AUSTRALIA, U DONT NEED TO WRITE ANY EXAM OOOH ASIDE IELTS...BUT ITS A MUST THAG U WOULD DO A BRIDGING COURSE WHEN U GET THERE. ITS FOR A YEAR OR 3 MONTHS OPTION. MOST NIGERIANS THERE DO THE 3 /MONTHS, AFTER THAT , WORK DON START BE THAT... JUST THAT AUSTRALIA FAR SHA...LOL P.S: before u come here and start confusing me, do your research very well. So we can interact on the same bandwidth I hope this helps someone... Cheers fam[/quote] |
