His sticking to it is only out of arroganceand ego. He knows he messed up with that careless statement on his inauguration day. EmperorCaesar:

That this is coming from an elderly guy doesnt make it the truth
If he had no plans, he'd have reversed all his decisions.
Like Football philosophy being imposed by New Coaches, it takes true conviction to standby your decision even when things seem this hard and people keep lamenting
That is the plan...And his sticking to it shows he believes in the plan |

Stop listeningto propaganda and face reality. Mind you I am from delta. The northerners are the ones suffering most from the insecurity. Even the fulanis are not left out. Everything is not propaganda. GorillaApp: You are truly delusional or plain ignorant. This country is not what you think it is at face value. The gospel truth is that the bulk of the terrorists are from the fulani extraction. This same tribe are mostly in charge in politics and military architecture and you think they will go against their people? It's very funny when you think this country is working. Look here Mr man. These guys are ready to sacrifice hundreds of soldiers to protect their own. I don't know how to make you understand this but if you can't, then I will leave you to your own design Good luck |

The cabinet reshuffle has shown that tinubu is not serious about changing the fortunes of suffering Nigerians. Infact the man is very unserious. We are talking about hunger and lack of access to basic needs of life and he is scrapping and sacking irrelevant ministers. To even think that some people are even applauding him is unthinkable. |

Be deceiving yourself there. So you think the security agents loosing thier lives daily dont want to get them. Even ordinary kidnappers terrorising the highways daily have not be got talk less of the main terrorism. Or you think the government is happy with the state of insecurity. They are just handicapped. Stop overestimating your country. GorillaApp: If you don't know, keep quiet. If your govt wants to get them, they can do that in less than 3 weeks. They are just not willing to, period. |

Unfortunately he has been a disaster to say the least stuffs2002: The only reason you voted for that evil and dangerous failure called Obi is because he is an Igbo person like you.
Peter Obi was on a mission to destroy Nigeria through tribal and religious war and all those who voted for Peter Obi are enemies of Nigeria |

You cant t deny that you don't see how your people feel they are bigger than other Nigerians. The same problem why some of my people deny being igbos Brendaniel: Fulanis that have been killing people all over Nigeria even before Buhari became president did not stop you people from voting him and never even accused the Fulanis of being hostile to other tribes then still reelected him even after they increased the killings under him....

Obasanjo is playing to the gallery. No one is denying igbo presidency. Last election was a clear example. A lot of us voted for obi not because he is an igbo like me but because we believed in him. Southerners were even the ones that betrayed him. Especially People like Wike. Secondly igbos need to know how to play politics. They are too hostile towards other regions. They don't believe in building bridges. Their arrogance will always deprive them of that exalted position. |

You be unrepentant mumu. How much is the minimum wage. Why do you have to spend money to remain politically relevant as a serving senator when your performance is supposed to speak for you. Why do a lot of citizens have low brains like this DrTee1: On both counts, I understand and I agree with Mr Kalu.
Kalu might be a crook of some sort, yes. He might have been jailed in the past, yes BUT he is right on this one.
No politician of his status can survive on merely 14 million naira every month. That's about £7000 or so? Those who beg him for cash and the amount he has to spend to keep himself politically relevant each month is certainly more than that.
Secondly, he is right about the 6 year single term. This current style is not working. 4 years isn't enough to make any significant difference in office. The desperation for a second term as well as to install a successor often robs our politicians and political institutions of the necessary input to make our society move at the pace we need it to go.
Kalu is entirely right on the foregoing, in my opinion. |

Been seeing your post for sometime and I am just curious. Are a govt paid agent. If you are then it makes sense trying to sell their polices but if you are not then I think you are not smart FreeStuffsNG: The fee has been reduced very very significantly from 0.5% to 0.005% (almost zero percent!) in order not to throw away the baby with the bath water and help FG deliver on the purpose meant for the fund.
0.005% on N100k (one hundred thousand naira) for example is a paltry N5 (five naira) and N50 charge on N1 million naira so it makes absolute sense, low and fair enough in my opinion. Most transactions of the poor range between N1k and N100k so the highest a poor person will pay as cybercrime fee is N5 and lowest is 5 kobo!
There's so much at risk so there must be deliberate effort to sustain the security architecture around this crime.
