Investment / Re: Do You Know That Keeping Naira In The Bank Is A Waste Of Money? by chelsma: 2:55pm On Mar 05, 2021
This system does work for us, and we are still within our comfort zone. We operate under a few set restrictions:

1. We have ONE cycle annually; we don't take subscriptions all year round.
2. We take a stipulated amount every Cycle, calculated based on our current production and distribution capacity, and proposed market expansions.
3. The bottled water business is also a seasonal business, and our annual cycle is made to start and end within the peak season. This is why there is a deadline and all subscriptions stop on March 31. Also if we receive the stipulated amount before the deadline, subscriptions stop.

These set restrictions further enhance our operational efficiency, because we do not take more than the business actually needs at any point in time, and the business is not put under pressure rather the strategic capital infusion maximizes our competitive advantages, revenue and profit.

We do offer B-level shares to some investors.

juniorstar:
promising a certain percentage is always risky in business. simply do it in form of shares so DAT when profit increases the shareholders feel it and when no profit the shareholders also feel it so DAT you are not under pressure to deliver 35% when business isn't moving. it keeps you sane. so you don't end up damaging ur reputation and still losing your own personal belongings to pay up debt.

We have tested different strategies, this is the most successful and sustainable. So we definitely do not need another Loan, not from Nigeria anyways. They tend to be parasitic as opposed to enhancive.

It cannot be a Ponzi scheme, we spent years perfecting our systems. Our business is compartmentally structured, so every dime can be put somewhere and the marginal revenue effectively evaluated.

It is actually 6 months not 3 months, because the capital is utilized a few times to yield profit. It is also a FMCG, which translates to faster turnover. We have been running this model for 3 years and counting and every single subscriber has been paid thus far. We are now needing to amplify to cushion the explosive effect of the pandemic and be able to meet our current demands.

Billyonaire666:
You need a loan instead of this OPM strategy.

Issuing bond for duration of 3 months is like a legitimate ponzi scheme but brings too much headache.

You could try longer tenors.

Experts have proven that liquid assets like cash in the bank limit your opportunity to grow. The fact is that when you deposit money in the bank, it doesn't just sit there in the bank vault, the bank takes your money and invests it, makes profit and gives you nothing. Moreover, with unstable and volatile currencies like the Naira, the risk of keeping cash money in the bank is more, because it simply depreciates in value while in the bank earning you nothing. Apart from staring at your account balance, smiling sheepishly and massaging your ego, keeping cash money in the bank is useless.

SOLUTION: Put your money to work, possibly while you sleep.

Chrisbella24:

Have you gone to their office?

UPDATE: I didn’t receive the ROI for this week. This is now 4 unpaid ROI AND COUNTING.

I’m not in Nigeria, BUT even if I was, it shouldn’t take me going to their office to get them to solve a lingering issue as serious as this.

For a company that prides itself as “digital” this shouldn’t even be discussed. Why do I need to go all the way to their office; they are acknowledging my dozens of complaints, they are just not doing anything about it. The people I have been speaking to on dozens of phone calls are human beings. The people that reply my whatsapp messages, emails and Instagram messages are human beings. I spoke to their MD directly and still NOTHING. All I get are these indefinite-sounding attempts at a meaningful explanation, “we are working on it” “we WILL pay all outstanding refunds” no timeline nothing. Since August.

What difference will going to their office make, except I will be going there to fight or something. A genuine customer-centric business won’t let any customer go through that kind of stress. Besides, anyone in his right senses knows that for a customer to get to the level of visiting your office after dozens untreated complaints, that’s an agitated customer who’s not there for a quiet discussion.

The ultimate point here is that something is definitely wrong somewhere. This is not my first rodeo, I can’t ignore the signs.

Investment / Re: Please I It Safe To Invest In Themap.ng by chelsma: 1:40am On Nov 17, 2020
I made an investment with Themap.ng in January. The ROI comes weekly. The portfolio is supposed to run for a year and the bikes will come back to me (if I need them) or I give them the authority to sell them and send me the funds (subject to a commission). I did my due diligence; I went to their office close to MM2 Ikeja. I chased them for a while for the agreement but I got it when I went to their office.

The first 6 months ran smoothly. Sometimes the payment came later in the week (Thur or Friday), but it was OK.

THE PROBLEM started after 6 months. They missed the first payment & kept mute. I thought it was an honest mistake and I trusted them to reconcile it as soon as I reported it, so I reported it. I have been chasing it since then so you can imagine the Level of frustration. In fact, they have missed 2 more payments since then, making it 3 missing payments and counting. These people will frustrate you to near submission, because every single time you contact them they make you recount your problem all over again (ZERO follow up) and then tell you they are working on it. They have now missed 3 payments and counting; the latest was just last week. Today is Tuesday and the ROI for this week hasn’t come. Perhaps this week will be the 4th unpaid ROI.

I made that investment so that the proceeds can go to a bunch of Underprivileged students I have on scholarship (school fees, pocket money etc.) and I made it very clear to them from the beginning. But these people have messed it up so much, and to add insult to injury, they give me the run around and make me chase them endlessly for unpaid ROI. They have completely destroyed all the trust and benefit of doubt. They never do what they say they will do, which is TERRIBLE for any business. JUST read some replies under any of their posts on Instagram and you will see a lot more people like me! I think that’s all the answers you need.

My advice would be for you to put your money someplace else.

Start by checking the state & level of your differential fluid (that big round thing inbetween your back tyres).
You may need something like this.
A VTM-4 fluid.

I've a 2010 Honda Pilot. The VTM-4 light started showing suddenly one hot afternoon and I noticed the car became sluggish. Then I also noticed that whenever I off the car and in it again the VTM-4 light would go, after some time it would come on again. I kept using this technique. After about 2 months, the car graduated to misfiring and jerking suddenly when in motion. If I off and on the again it will start working fine. But about 4 days ago I started hearing a particular kind of noise coming from the engine side. And when I put on the car now the VTM-4 light comes on immediately now, it doesn't run for some time before coming on like before. The off and on technique have stopped working too and the movement is bad.

Can all this be solved by just changing this oil? How can this oil be changed? I mean which part of the vehicle or engine requires this oil?

Also how can I get the oil

Thanks.
