hello house..I recently got a 2001 Camry big light, and I got to see the abs light on after getting to crib. I did an obd scan on it and no code popped up. I also noticed at top speed when i clamp on the brake, the steering shakes. my technician recommends a change of brake disc to resolve the shaking. but am skeptical about it...so I decided to consult this great forum of great minds and sharp brains.....please help a brother.....

Hello house...does anyone knows where i can get 5W30 engine oil branded by either total or mobil here in nigeria. Am kind of scared of servicing my vehicle with questionable brands of this 5w30. Please help a brother out...! Am in serious need to service my car and i don't want to poison it.

@adanny01....thank goodness the overheating issue is resolved. I just noticed that the a reduction in my radiator water as well. Its a 50-50 mixture of water and coolant, i have been using the car for over 4months now without any complain. I also observed the radiator isn't leaking. Pls could it be that i need to change the radiator cap to resolve loss of content? My radiator cap has 88kpa written as the pressure spec. Please advise appropriately....

@stylz69..thanks once again for your candid advise. I will do just as you advised. I believe there is no way the mechanics can exceed the manufacturer's knowledge of its own machine. The oil that came with my car is 5w30, and its been doing great despite the fact that the car now runs in nigeria. I rather stay glued to the recommended engine oil, than damage my automobile because the mechanics feels 20w50 too can also work.

@stylz69...thanks for the information. pls since you have been using the OEM toyota oil in your car...will you advise i saty put with my recommeded oil 5w30 or i switch to oil used in this part of the globe....20w50..?.

Hello house... i have searched for this 5W30 engine oil but haven't found it. i was able to get one online branded by Total Ineo. I got to the total service station here in Ilorin, to my amazement the attendants and supervisor said total doesn't manufacture 5W30. the same was said by Mobil service station too....Please who knows where one can get 5W30 engine oil here in nigeria and the likely price.
