cne010: I don't think the Toyota camry is suppised to be using a dextron 3. Toyota T-IV is the recommend. I advise you check your manual. Check the Toyota owners thread in the car talk section.

Its been 2 weeks now that i had submitted an online application for the renewal of my driver's license, all payment to the effect of the issuance of a valid license has been made. The payment had been acknowledged as successful and another printout has been acquired to its effect. The Driving Test at the VIO office had been conducted and i passed, then there arose the gridlock of CAPTURING.....On getting to the FRSC office....Ilorin Office(Kwara State Command), i was told point blank that there is NO CAPTURING for now....and that its over a month since they last captured an applicant and they don't know when next they will start the process again. The system of Online Application can in a way be fashioned to include the Image Capturing aspect of the licensing this will save the time of processing. A stone throw to the FRSC office, i met a VIO officer who claimed its over 2 months the printing Ink of the FRSC coloured printer got exhausted, and that since then the Capturing and Printing of New Driver's License had been suspended indefinately. The Men in Black with guns has seen this loophole in the license renewal/ issuance and are feeding heavily on it as a vulture feeds on carcass. I had to argue my way through when i was flagged down by the men in black on my way back from work yesterday, i showed them the lump of papers i now have as license renewal processing documents, one of the laughed out and said "When license turn to 4 papers?" Its indeed a shame that such a laudable idea of newness became problem to the populace and rose the question of What was wrong with the Former? Unfortunately once you indicate the capturing office of interest, you can't get captured anywhere else. These are my experience as regards the New Driver's License.....Fellow Nairalanders...Fellow Nigerians..What are your views about this New Driver's LIcense, What is the situation in your State ......

I am a victim of this wicked act....i was stopped by SARS here in ilorin only to be told dat my license issued in ogun state but has KN(kano) code behind it, is fake! They wasted my time and threatened to take me to their station. They also eventually collected 1,000 naira from me after taking me all around town. Thanks OP for this information, now i know my rights.....

Siena: Wow. You do realise with AWD, your tyres need to be the same size, ALL ROUND. Right now, your front tyres have a larger rolling diameter, which means the smaller rears are faster, but covering LESS distance versus the fronts, which are turning slower, but covering MORE distance.

Your tyres will be scrubbing as they're tyring to turn at the same speed, and cover the same distance on the SAME vehicle! All driven wheels MUST be the same size, no exceptions. The extra friction will also increase fuel consumption.

You are looking to blow your transfer case, your Owner's Manual will tell you this.

@ siena thanks for the candid advise. pls is it adviseable i change the rear too to 205/60/R15. will this 205/60/R15 work as a good substitute to the 205/55/R15 that came with the Car? what are the indications...?

@siena ...yes my front tires are 205/60/R15 ...my rear tires are 205/55/R15.

Great job Siena...always as educative as expected, i salute your analysis.I drive a 2004 Pontiac Vibe AWD. Pls Sir i recently changed my front tire from 205/55/R15 89H to 205/60/R15 92H. i had done the wheel balancing and alignment. and i don't go beyond 35Psi. i observe my steering shakes at a speed of 120km/hr and sometimes at 100km/hr. could it be as a result of my tire change? i searched for 205/55/R15 all to no avail here in Ilorin, Kwara State. so i was advised to buy 205/60/R15.
