Hello everyone, I would be arriving Birmingham Airport on Thursday and my agent texted me that recent bank statements are being asked for at the point of Entry. Please how true is it? I already emptied my naira account since April 1st and changed 3 months rent to pounds.
Please how true is the recent bank statement requirement?
Hi I know it’s been a few months can I please ask what your experience at the airport was like. Did you print your POF if so how many weeks? Or did you show from your mobile app?
Thanks

Hi Everyone,

Anyone travelling this August or already in the UK? If you are already in the UK what was your experience with the UK border officer.

This is from gov.uk website…learn to read and understand things from the source itself, stop relying on AI for interpretations
But the first advice he gave (which you said was wrong) was actually right. The person is yet to to start his studies, so not even on a graduate visa. So yes the changes happening this July will apply to him.

What you have copied and pasted applies to people currently in the country. When the person in question hasn't even entered the UK.

If you like insult me, the negative talk is too much. We should look out for each other and share ways to survive anything. Indians do it, why can't we.

Students got married too and switched to spousal visa, everyone did not become illegal.

I'm no longer interested in this talk, sorry I started it, I came here for positivity and information to help my journey.
There is nothing negative about what he said. It was a bit easier back then. Even still I know people who travelled back to Naija when all failed. You mentioned spousal visa not every one has that option or opportunity.

The truth of it all is it is not as easy anymore and it is not negativity for anyone to point this out, in fact it is beneficial so anyone moving after this change can brace brace themselves, do their research and plan.

Hello

Anyone know how long it takes GIG to deliver passport to Port Harcourt? Got a text message on 24/06 from VFS that passport had been dispatched. Not heard anything from GIG.

Anyone contacted the PH branch?

Millions especially if the payer is not a consistent payer to the account. I already told you best way to build your account for uk visa is never allow them see too much inflow and outflow. Put all your bulks and print a day after it.
Thank you.
My friend had about 3million go into her account, but this is outside of the 28 days but visible on the statement, will this pose an issue?

Sometimes they use this email to buy time since they were unable to deliver within the stipulated period. It might just take a little longer to get a decision. Worst case scenario is that you are called for an interview
Thank you. The thing is they were still withing the 3 weeks and not gone over when they sent the email. Thinking a paid call might be best.
