You are safe. The processing of Your application started when you submitted it and it does not have any effect with your afterwards denial of America visa.

Hello house, please i have a question about my Canadian visa application that has been bothering me for quite a while now.
I recently applied for Canadian tourist visa and six days later, i went for my American visa interview which was denied. My question now is, hope the Canadian visa officer will be able to see the i was denied the US visa after i already applied for the Canadian visa and not assume that i lied on my visa application form as i understand they share the same database.
Kindly note that i had never been denied an American visa before submission of my Canadian visa application. The only visa i was denied was UK which i stated on my form. The US visa denial was only days after my Canadian visa application.
