When you say your salary can go far, how much do you mean? If it’s not up to $3k/month, then I don’t know what else to say. Anyway, why not try Pr or visa conversion? Well, what do I know?[/quote]Thanks Jonathan,
It is up to, give or take. I just need guidance on what the next steps are after getting my LMIA, i am still in Lagos.

Good Afternoon. Please I need help!

I have been working for my Canadian employer remotely since August this year, they like my work and would like me to come over. My team is made up of colleagues from different parts of the world and my boss helped them by providing an positive LMIA and he wants to do this for me as well if i want to.
He can get me a positive LMIA as early as February and he is ok with me working remotely (like i said, he just wants to help). This company is in New Brunswick and I have a younger brother in Ontario i can stay with. My goal is to get a PR eventually, i understand that i will get a work visa upon entry, can i stay briefly and come back to Nigeria in a month or less since i can work from anywhere? I don't really want to leave Nigeria as my salary can go very far here. (Cost of living is minute here compared to Ontario and i save more)

I need advise from anyone who has gotten a positive LMIA here please, what are the next steps, how can i go about this?
