So sad, investigation might lead to a lady he promised marriage or a guy he took his girl friend. I wonder how people find it so easy to take another life. the wicked can never go unpunished.

I think the major problem is looking down on someone you are not feeding.

Respect is give and take. the more i grow into something bigger than i was yesterday, the more i learn to respect even the list person in the society. always approach anybody calmly and peacefully, try the peaceful way first before considering violence as your last option. depending if its a do or die affair.

CelebritiesRe: Annie Idibia Reveals Qualities She Wants In Her Next Relationship After Divorce by chibuikejohn: 4:08pm On Sep 28, 2025
One thing most women don't like is the truth. with 2 kids and divorced, you are definitely not in that list anymore. not even with all your influence. you really think any well to do young man with dreams will want to pick you instead of a single, never married, no child woman?
FamilyRe: When Is It Appropriate To Share Family Inheritance by chibuikejohn: 4:37pm On Sep 27, 2025
Jacoban20:
I know someone whose dad died more than 25 years ago, leaving them some landed properties and buildings.

Of the 7 siblings (3 ladies and 4 guys), all married, only one can be said to be really wealthy. And it's a lady.

The youngest of them is over 40 years old, married with kids.

The problem is that the first son has been tampering with the family money in his custody, and millions generated from rent as well as sale of one of the buildings can't be accounted for. And he's also owing millions of naira somewhere.

As the first son, most of the decisions over family matters has been by him in conjunction with the eldest of the 7 (a lady), which is how the family purse ended up with him in the first place. And they seem to override the opinions of the other siblings who are partly allowing it so as to remain on the good books of the eldest who happens to be the only one doing well financially. For instance, if any of them needed a loan from the family purse and isn't a favorite to them (eldest son and eldest sister), they easily find an excuse to deny person.

Now, my friend who is one of the younger siblings (over 40 years old) wants to call a meeting, ask for account of the monies unaccounted for and also ask for the inheritance to be shared, to allow everybody to control their portion by themselves.

But he wants to be sure that IT IS NOT TOO EARLY, and that it won't cause division in the family.

Also how should the sharing formula look like?

I'll send him link to read all the comments. Please advise him. Thanks
I come from a family of eight and by His grace my Parents still alive. My Father shared his property while he is still alive. even though i got almost nothing in the process because he didn't have so much. But i am happy he did what he wanted with his properties and i cant question what i didn't work for.

In your case, it is a little complicated because the old man is no more. I will recommend sharing the property which is always the right thing to do for the sake of peace. in every family, we always have someone who will value peace more than any material thing, go closer to the person and see reasons together.

CareerRe: Dangote Refinery Sacks Nigerian Employees For Joining PENGASSAN by chibuikejohn: 10:12am On Sep 26, 2025
brain54:
Well they are also labor laws...

And these workers also have an employment contract.

It's not simple a matter of "exiting" if not satisfied. It's a matter of legal rights.

The worker has certain rights due him just as the employer has rights.

That's why they is the judiciary to settle such issues.

To me personally, workers joining a legal association that isn't proscribed by law is their legal rights and as long as the association isn't a threat to company's business they have a right to belong.

I think it's oppressive and discrimination if dangote lays them off for wanting to exercise their rights.

Anyway that's why we have courts to interpret and give judgment in cases of dispute like this!
Once you sign a contract, you are binded by the content of what you signed. you do not have any other rights outside those terms and conditions which you signed.
CareerRe: Dangote Refinery Sacks Nigerian Employees For Joining PENGASSAN by chibuikejohn: 10:08am On Sep 26, 2025
It is very simple, if your employment letter clearly stated that you cannot join any union, please keep to those terms. I believe its a free world and a personal business. you have the right to stay or move and Dangote also have the same right to either keep you or terminate your employment.

How are you sure that man isn't the father of her child.

No be awa/erivin kill your brother sohuh

What's your tribe.
Unfortunately a lot of people do not believe in the spirituality of a husband becoming sick once he eats from the pot of an unfaithful wife.
A lot of men are dead today because of that singular act.
for me, i don't know if it is physical poisoning or spiritual poisoning but i do know it happens one way or the other.
CrimeRe: Verydarkman Exposes Fake Land Owner Who Killed Real Estate Agent After Fraud ... by chibuikejohn: 7:47am On Sep 25, 2025
For me, the story leading to the dead no add up at all.
you call yourself a professional property agent with years of experience. How can a simple 5% agency fee make you forget the rules in the business. Approving transfer without seeing the document of the property? Trusting someone who could not even trust you enough to come with the documents of the property to the meeting point? I saw red flag in every step but unfortunately the dead is dead already and the lady is very much involved in anything the boyfriend did.

A system that works unlike the other one he escaped.
Someone entrusted to make the call was harsh but the system was alive for him.
A system that works indeed. he just won a court appeal after spending more than 4 decades with nothing to show for. for over 4 decades he couldn't work out anything for himself both home and away.
i wonder which life he said began.
TravelRe: Disabled Nigerian Man Living In UK For 38 Years Wins Appeal Against Deportation by chibuikejohn: 5:02pm On Sep 23, 2025
when i look at his picture, all i see is a broken man. No Family, maybe no friend both home and away, no property to call his own. A wasted 40 years in a foreign land.
I thought Nigeria was better in his time, I thought the reason people are moving is because of the hardship, failed system and insecurity. what was his reason?
I can only feel sorry for him and perhaps learn few lessons from his mistakes
