Never said there wasn't any violence around. Even the safest of places has it's own morons wondering about. Football is no difference. However it's been brought down to it's bare minimum. As i said before, it's pure common sense. Go anywhere in the world and you'll see that controlling a football with regards to police presence is no joke at all so why would you want to put pressure on the Met police when they have other more serious issues to attend to?

if the victims don't file any report, what can the media do? it has to be reported to the police before the media can latch on to it - and all these guys are into gangs. nearly all of them have been banned from football grounds. they are not interested in the results, they just want to hang around the stadium & glass the rival group.

In this day and age of technology, you don't any victims to report it. Phones will do the job. Also don't what sets of fans live in your area if na so so glassing and shanking u dey see.

Pray tell what happens outside the stadiums? How many stabbings or Hooligans clashes have you seen or heard about say in the last one year? We all know these are types of stories the tabloids thrive on. Any whisper of such incidents and they'll be on to it like a bad rash. Abeg let's give credit to whom it's due.

Not having two teams in the same vicinity play in the same week is just pure common sense. And it is pretty much how it is done around the world I think.

Not excusing their behaviour one bit. Even the dude present at the scene said they should not have done that. Guess that's what happens when you mix the high of Alcohol and footy.

What I was told was that the Train(the carriage he tried to hop on) was packed. How true that is I don't know. What I do know however is that they should not have made up those chants. Also think the pack mentality plays a huge part. Nah only for group dem fit denge pose and yarn opata much like those South london "Brap Brap yo blad" boyz.


Lastly, What you said about Rugby in particular is very true. As the saying goes "Rugby is a game for Hooligans played by gentlemen whilst football is a game for gentlemen played by Hooligans" . Guess that applies to the fans too. Also with regards to the nuisance behaviour English Footy fans are known for, I think the FA has done a splendid job in tackling it head on. If you compare the attitudes of fans say for example in the mid 90s to now, you'll see the huge strides that have been made. The Den for example is much safer than it was 10-15 years ago.

I've been on many trains with our fans. Your story might have credence. They pick on anyone and start singing songs about them.

Last time I was on the train to Sheffield with them heading to Man Utd match. One woman started catching panic attack and having breathing problems due to their intimidating presence. See the song they started singing about her. Laugh been want kill me.

These lot play a lot of funny games but they are not too malicious about it.

As I keep saying, I am not here to defend the actions of those fans. Simply retelling the story of the incident as seen from someone who was actually there. LIVE AND DIRECT!


Dude I have been on the train countless amount of times with fans of both Arsenal and Tottenham so I know what these dudes are capable of . There was actually one incident that had the whole train carriage in tears of laughter.

your mate is crazy - the black man said nothing to them on that platform. he's french & cannot speak or understand any word in english. he didn't even understand the chant or the song till he saw the video.

the train wasn't filled to the brim too. one or two women came out of the train while the man was being pushed out. he could have easily taken the space they left behind. it's a racist act & their racist chants backed that up. there's no excuses here. those fans ought to be severely punished.

As I previously said I am making no excuses(hence why I repeatedly called them "Drunken Louts". Simply stating the story of incident as witnessed from an individual who was actually present at scene(none of us where). Even He agrees that the chants were not necessary.

The majority of the incident was apparently videoed by a passenger on the train. Let's hope that individual releases it.

I have another Angle on this incident Lads. A mate of mine (chelsea fan btw)who happened to be in the same train as those louts paints a suprisingly different picture from what is being reported.

He says the Black dude was trying to force his way into the train despite being told the train was full(if you watch the footage again, you'll see He was pretty much the only one trying to get in). Rather than give up and wait for the next available train, He chose to try his luck one more time. Seeing that the drunken louts weren't bulging, He started calling them racist(saying the reason He wasn't being allowed on the train was because He was black hence the chant "We are racist and that's the way we like it").

Btw I am not defending and neither am I excusing the behaviour of those drunken louts.
