No board was setup to manage the funds and investments Obi claimed he invested on behalf of the state.

It was all a one man heist disguised as state investment.

Normally, a board of trustees should have been setup by Obi to manage Anambra's Sovereign Wealth Investments just as is the case with the Odua Group in the SW which is managed by appointed representatives from each state drawn from both public and private sector devoid of partisan sentiments.

In the case of Obi's purported "investments" of Anambra sovereign wealth, it was a one man show. Obi never constituted a board of trustees that ought to not only direct the investment but also manage it long after he leaves office. But this wasn't the case with Giringory. Only him sat and decided where investments should go which was mainly to business linked to him. To make matters worse, Obi never bothered to set up a board to manage said investments instead he just went on a lying spree claiming the state sovereign fund was worth #75bn on leaving office - a claim his successor dismissed as bogus lies

Only Giringory can audit the state sovereign funds he claimed to have "saved" and "invested" on behalf of the state.

Just like LP Presidential campaign funds, Obi and his presidential campaign team are yet to release a full audit of their spendings. Aisha Yesefu released a few crumpled up receipts to justify the billions donated by their lunatic mob supporters as a breakdown of the campaign expenditure. Billions were stolen by the Obi -Datti campaign team so much so that they didn't even bother to pay and mobolise their own party agents to over 70,000 polling units in the north. I bet if the campaign cost for hosting their Obito rallies with canopies was released today , you will be shocked to see how they will claim to have spent hundreds of millions to rent an open field and hire 6 canopies. The campaign rallies were such an embarrassment to even the shameless Obi that he even abandoned one of such signature open field canopy conventions.

This isn't the only time Giringory has been known to commit heist of funds. Even after leaving office and getting appointed as the the SE PDP GEJ/Sambo 2015 Presidential elections director, Giringory refused to release funds meant for the campaigns in the SE. This saw to the SE PDP big wigs leaving the party for Giringory. The foolishness of Jonathan appointing Obi who decamped from APGA to manage his campaign in the SE over existing old PDP leaders was just one of many gaffes. Till date , Giringory has never made any formal account of the GEJ Sambo campaign funds released to him. That is why till today I blame GEJ for appointing Obi to head his campaign in the SE which saw to the lack lustre performance he got from the region. It's on record that virtually all the big PDP names in the SE decamped to the APC immediately GEJ conceded and it's also a fact that out of all of the campaign directors for the GEJ regional and state Presidential team only Giringory was never arrested over campaign funds because the Buhari govt saw Giringory's heist of campaign funds as beneficial to them.
