My chickens were attacked last night in our coop and sprayed. I cannot believe they survived but they are scared and the smell was putrid. Any experts that have recommendations on how to keep skunks out of my yard and coop? I installed a motion sensitive light in the backyard and also made sure that my fencing goes through the ground to keep skunks from digging under. I'm concerned about the smell and if it will attract other skunks nearby to attack again. The skunk sprayed my chickens and I'm really worried for them. Any insight would be helpful. I found a checklist online but want to know your ideas and tips for my chickens.
