We have two type of cable

We have strong one and the fragile cable..

The fragile cable can easily break at any time and the strong one doesn't break easily

Exactly, I noticed that the replacement cable used in my case was way more thicker and less flexible than the former.

Another point to note for those intending to get the fiberx.
Ensure the installer uses the durable cable.

It seems calling out MTN on Twitter finally did the trick.

I called them out yesterday evening and they requested my details.

Very early this morning, I got a call from an engineer, and he came to diagnose and resolve the issue.

It seems the installer did a bad job.
He pointed out that the fibre wire was stretched too tight at some point.

If you plan on getting Fibrex, make sure you supervise the installation and ensure there is as little tension as possible on the wire, as it is quite fragile.

My Fibrex is now working smoothly!

I've been unable to use mine since Saturday.

Saw thier advert while watching EPL today and nearly swore for them.

My router has been here for over 3 weeks, not working, they have refused to respond to all queries. Called, visited their office, nothing was done.

They will install for you and disappear.
It's only to advertise they know o . Their service is very very bad. If you have an alternative pls go for it.

I am having the same problem now.
It was installed last friday and then activated on Saturday morning.

I used it for an hour or so before it went off.
I call 217 immediately expecting they might send someone over to fix it on Saturday or today. But nothing yet.
The thing is just idle here with the LOS indicator blinking red.

I guess good customer service isn't their priority.
Whats the use of having a good internet only to wait a decade ifor diagnosis is things go wrong?🤔

I can send you the agent's number who assisted me with mine, don't worry about getting scammed because a payment link will be sent to you from mtn, and you'll make the payment on the mtn website. You'll be required to send her a picture of the receiver that's on the pole so she can confirm from the number on the receiver if service has commenced in your area

I sent a picture of the receiver and a payment link was sent to me like you said.

I filled some form on their website a while back. I assume they are now reaching to people that showed interest earlier.

Call 300 on your MTN line and ask to be transferred to the broadband help desk. There might be a direct line to broadband, but I don't know.
