As Imolites are waiting for the Presidency and NWC to decide who becomes the Imo PDP Governorship flag bearer, youths across the 27 LGAs gathered peacefully to protest for the fairness of the election and how it was over counted just to favour a particular aspirant.
The angry protesters maintained that Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha can not emerge with the aid of electoral malpractice and win Owelle Rochas Okorocha in the general election. They are demanding for the just concluded election to be properly examined to ascertain the rightful winner as anything contrary to that will erupt some crisis in Imo PDP.
Many organisations and groups have warned PDP against the ongoing manipulation which is about taking place in Imo just like they did in 2007 that paved way for Ikedi Ohakim. They lamented angrily and threatened to pay PDP back in their own coin during the general election if they continue in this non transparent manner.
OPOCA and Orlu ZURUME have advised PDP to treat this issue with utmost fairness and scrutinise it properly as the election was highly questionable. They also warned that if nothing is done to harmonise this they will vote for Orlu zone irrespective of the political platform and individual interest.
Some of the protesters at the party secretariat said that if ARARAUME could be able to secure up to 336 number of votes, while his counterparts who were said to have pocketed the delegates even before the election took place scored lesser, it means he is highly acceptable in Imo State. He has proven to Imolites that he is highly acceptable and possesses the clout to face any aspirant at the polls come 2015 general election.

I was at Dan Anyiam stadium yesterday during the primaries, Senator Araraume actually won the election, i don't understand why PDP chose to cause problem in a state where the incumbent governor is from another party
