PoliticsRe: APC Plotting To Use Foreign Mercenaries To Rig Edo Guber, PDP Alleges by CHIDEXG: 2:17am On Jul 05, 2020
The best thing PDP should do is to map-out strategies on how to win Edo election, and not to shout aloud what APC is plotting to do. If you can import Mercenaries from all over the world to win Edo election pls do. It is so bad and too early to start crying and shouting instead reaching out your supporters in their numbers, using all available support groups to win election you are busy making irrelevant accusation that will not hold water at the end. PDP you have every opportunity to win Edo Guber Election, but if you prefer pointing accusing fingers on APC instead putting strong strategies to win Edo election, it will just be like a day-dream to you as usual. Better wake-up and do the needful.
PoliticsRe: Osun: Why Adeleke Can’t Get Certificate Now –INEC by CHIDEXG: 12:09pm On Mar 26, 2019
The decision of INEC not to issue Certificate of Return to Adeleke is political. Such is against democracy in its entirety. In the case of Uche Ogah and Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia state in 2016 Court sacked Ikpeazu and rulled in favour of Uche Ogah, INEC under 24 hours issued Certificate of Return to Uche Ogah, when asked why in a hurry, INEC explained that they are just obeying Court order. Why didn't INEC site Section 143(1) of the Electoral Act 2010 as amended in the case of Ogah Vs Ikpeazu?

Why is INEC not obeying Court order in Adeleke's case?
Please note that section 143(1) of the Electoral Act 2010 as amended, which reads "a candidate whose election is set aside has a period of 21days from the date of the decision of the court to appeal against such a ruling" is just for the candidate and his party alone not for INEC. Section 143(1) stated period of elaps for appeal by aggrieved candidate/party, it never said "upon the elapse of 21 days period INEC can issue certificate of return". This is purely a dent on democracy. INEC has no right whatsoever to delay or deny the issuance of Certificate of Return to Adeleke. Nigerians are watchng, the world is also watching the incoherent judgment of INEC.
