Pastor W. F. Kumuyi has explained why he does not allow elaborate birthday celebrations around him despite turning 85 years old. The General Superintendent of Deeper Christian Life Ministry made this known while appreciating church members for celebrating him on his 85th birthday. According to Pastor Kumuyi, he does not want to create a precedent that may later become a doctrine in the church whereby future leaders may refer to how he was celebrated at 85 and make it a tradition. He added that such a development could later be used by another leader, whom he described as “Herod,” as a means of controlling the church, stressing that he does not want such to happen. Pastor Kumuyi also spoke on the forthcoming Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK) programme earlier scheduled to hold in Benue State, stating that it was cancelled/postponed so it would not clash with the Benue State Government’s 50th anniversary celebration. Before some people attack me, just hear this out. Most men think that as they grow older, especially after marriage or reaching their 40s, it is normal to develop one “chief commander” pot belly. We even joke about it and call it “evidence of enjoyment” or “good living.” But what if I told you that in many cases, that belly is not just ordinary fat? According to health discussions, constant consumption of sugar, bread, soft drinks, noodles, pastries, rice, and other refined carbs can keep insulin levels high for too long. And when insulin stays high, something interesting happens. The body increases an enzyme called aromatase, which can convert testosterone (male hormone) into estrogen. Meaning: More belly fat = More aromatase More aromatase = More estrogen More estrogen = More belly fat Na loop be that And this may explain why some men with stubborn pot bellies also struggle with: ❌ Low energy ❌ Low drive ❌ Reduced performance ❌ Constant tiredness The surprising part? Some experts argue that endless sit-ups may not be the real solution. The bigger issue could be insulin resistance and diet. Simple changes people often discuss include: ✔ Reducing sugar ✔ Cutting down refined starch ✔ Avoiding late-night heavy meals ✔ Eating more intentionally I recently came across a short whiteboard video that breaks this down in a very simple way — the hormone cycle, why belly fat keeps returning, and what may help stop it. Watch the full video here and tell us if you agree or disagree: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OWqJNb41OTg After watching, do you think the average Nigerian diet is silently causing pot bellies in men, or na just normal aging and enjoyment? ![]()

A recent visit by Nigeria’s First Lady to Ekiti State University (EKSU) has sparked serious reactions online — and surprisingly, it’s not just about the visit itself. According to videos making the rounds, the First Lady reportedly arrived with a massive convoy said to contain over 55 vehicles, leaving many Nigerians stunned. While some people argue that such a convoy is normal due to security, protocol, aides, government officials, and logistics, others are asking hard questions: “More than 55 cars in this economy?” Many Nigerians are already debating whether this is a necessary security arrangement or an example of government excess at a time when citizens are battling rising hardship and high living costs. Supporters, however, insist that top government officials cannot compromise security and that these movements often involve police, DSS, medical teams, media crews, protocol officers, and state government officials. But here’s the big question: Do you think a convoy of over 55 cars is justified for the First Lady’s official visit? Or is this another sign that Nigerian leaders are disconnected from the struggles of ordinary citizens? Watch the video and share your thoughts. https://youtube.com/shorts/hPxwrOB7EZo |
Dgift:Oh. That's wonderful. Many fruitful years in Jesus Christ's name. Amen! Your text was seasoned with grace, and I couldn't help but ask. ![]() |
Dgift:That's true, Gift. I just quoted someone up here, on the importance of calling upon God. We need Jesus, no matter what. By the way, are you single by chance? |
banom:Can I ask you a question? Have you seen students who studied well, and still ended up in failure My brother, there are powers that negate people's success, despite their efforts. That's why one needs to call upon God. |
Unless you have experienced, you will never understand what it means to be in the hands of those demonic entities. May God continue to protect His children in Jesus Christ's name. Amen! |

It could be a case of coincidence. Some of these skit makers can be prophetic at times. Whilst we laugh over what they do, we should also be cautious to know what message they are passing across. |
Second to comment. I am not a football fan, so I don't really know what to contribute. |

When Apostle Johnson Suleman speaks, you know it’s going to be 🔥 and this latest clip is no exception. In this short but deeply convicting message, he reveals how a lack of spiritual sensitivity can make you offend the very person God sent to lift you up! In his words, “When you lack spiritual sensitivity, you will offend who is meant to bless you. God can speak through anything, anyone, and anywhere. When you go where God has not sent you, your protector becomes your adversary.” This is a message every believer needs to hear, especially in times when discernment is rare and distractions are many. Apostle Suleman reminds us that God still speaks through unusual vessels, just as He spoke through a donkey in Numbers 22:28. Have you ever missed a blessing because you weren’t spiritually alert? Or has God ever spoken to you through an unexpected source? Let’s talk 👇 |
Nairalanders, this one go shock you o. During a recent interview session in Pakistan, the General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor W.F. Kumuyi, opened up about some unbelievable miracles that have taken place in his ministry, dating as far back as 1985! According to the man of God, over the years, they’ve witnessed countless cases where the blind received sight, the deaf heard, the dumb spoke, and even those with broken bones and paralysis were completely healed, not just in Nigeria, but across different continents of the world. He spoke with such calm confidence as he recounted real-life testimonies that have happened during the Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK), showing that the power of God is still real and active today. Whether you’re a believer or just curious, this is one of those interviews that will stir your faith and make you rethink what you know about divine healing and miracles. Watch the full interview here on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8SM10jYBk-8 Do you believe miracles like this still happen today, or do you think these are just coincidences? Let’s discuss. |
Many of us grew up believing that when God drove Adam out of the Garden of Eden, it was a harsh punishment for his sin. But what if I told you that it was actually an act of mercy? In this deep and eye-opening message, Apostle Michael Orokpo explains that Adam actually had two kinds of life — 1. The life in the blood, and 2. The life in the soul. When Adam fell, God had to chase him out of Eden to preserve His plan for man’s redemption, because if Adam had eaten from the Tree of Life in his fallen state, mankind would have been eternally doomed. So what looked like a punishment was actually God saving man’s destiny! ![]() This is one of those teachings that will make you stop and reflect on the depth of God’s mercy and how far He goes to protect His creation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bS2saS3D3AY Do you believe God’s decision to drive Adam out of Eden was mercy or punishment? Please share your thoughts in the comment section, someone might learn from your perspective. |
MrPresident1:Actually, bro. There's actually a hard life in the secret place, which no eyes see. These men of God pay huge prices in the place of prayer, service to God, etc. |
MaxInDHouse:Why is it that anywhere the name "E.A. Adeboye" is mentioned, it shakes people and places. There must be a glory associated with that name. What do you think, bro? |
In this video, Pastor E.A. Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), makes a heartfelt confession that has touched many hearts. He revealed that he never wanted to become a pastor and even prayed to God not to make him one. This surprising revelation shows the humility and sincerity behind one of the world’s most respected spiritual leaders. Pastor Adeboye said he had other dreams, but God had a greater plan for his life — a plan that would take him from the classroom to the pulpit and from Nigeria to the nations. According to Pastor Adeboye, during his early walk with God, he prayed earnestly that he would not be called into ministry. Yet, in his own words, “God overruled me.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MvoVAjTgVcs?si=pKH4K-FPDHJWae2L Today, Pastor Adeboye is a global voice for the gospel, leading a church that spans over 190 countries and has millions of members worldwide. His story is proof that God’s purpose always prevails — even when we don’t understand it at first. Powerful Lessons from Pastor Adeboye’s Testimony 1. God’s plan is greater than our fears. You may resist His call, but He knows the path that leads to your destiny. 2. Obedience unlocks purpose. Pastor Adeboye’s “Yes” to God changed countless lives. 3. Surrender brings peace. Real fulfillment begins when we stop fighting God’s will and start following it. |

Hello Nairalanders, I just dropped a new video on YouTube where I shared a very personal lesson I’ve been learning — The importance of setting boundaries. By day 30 of my self-growth journey, I realized that protecting my mental space and emotional well-being meant learning to say NO to things that drain me. It sounds simple, but it has truly been a game-changer for me. In the video, I talk about: 1. Why setting boundaries is necessary for peace of mind 2. How saying no can actually improve relationships 3. The mindset shift that comes when you prioritize yourself If you’ve ever struggled with people-pleasing or felt guilty about saying no, this video will definitely speak to you. Watch here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mOXsCoMisHE After watching, I’d love to hear your own experiences. How do you set boundaries in your daily life? Let’s talk! |
Hello everyone. So I had a dream this morning, where I saw myself selling fruits in the dream. Whilst in the dream, I was worried about two(2) things; 1. The fact that these are perishable items and how can I preserve them to avoid perishing. 2. The choice location to start the business. Because I saw other people selling their fruits in their locations and I am like "Where exactly should I setup my fruit kiosk?" I even had to converse with a lady in the dream about the fruit selling idea, and also my worries. Whilst I was at it, I woke up and behold, it was morning. Please, who can tell me what it means? Because I don't sell fruits at the moments. Or is God directing me to sell fruits? Maybe that's where I would make it? I need assistance with the interpretation. God bless you all. |
